Love to try this.   I dont use Clay Mask very often so I will doubt I would be purchasing the full size product.

Naked Princess: Lip Gloss
Full Size 0.10 oz @ $26, sample size 0.008 oz @ $2.08
I cant believe how small this sample is.  It is also a lip plumper without the stinging sensation.  I have tried it and didn't noticed anything different with my lips.

Atelier Cologne: Vanille Insensee
Full Size 30ml @ $70, sample size estimate 1ml @ $2.33
Gee, another perfume sample.  It's OK but I am not very interested in perfume.  There is only a handful out there I really like.

The Laundress: Delicate detergent
Full Size 500 ml @ $22, sample size 15ml @ $0.66
This is interesting.  I like detergent samples but I don't think I should pay for one.  I just use body wash to wash my delicates.

Mai Couture: Highlighter Papier
Full Size 50 Sheets @ $19-26, sample size 2 sheets @ $0.76
Not to thrilled with Mai Couture products except for their lip glosses.  I guess if you have those tiny purse then these paper will be a life saver.

So disappointed - I did email Glymm and they said that they will send me a "replacement" next month.  Fingers cross.

June 2012 Glymm box

I have to admit, every since their rebranding, their service and quality of the box had improved...keep it up.

This month's box:

La Fresh: Eco Beauty Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover
Full Size: 18 packs @ $9.99, Sample Size: 2 packs @ $1.11
These will be very convenient if I was travelling or on the go.  Instead of taking a bottle of nail polish remover (even a small one) I could have a few of these handy packages in my purse.  However, I think these are too expensive for me.  I will stick with the bottled nail polish remover.

Clark's Botanicals: Smoothing Marine Cream
Full Size: 50ml @ $115, Sample Size: estimate 3ml @ $6.90
This smells really good.  It really did make my skin all nice and smooth.  Unfortunately, I cant afford the price tag...ouch!

Salvadore Dali: ItlsDream
Full Size: 60ml @ $54, Sample Size: estimate 1.2ml @ $1.08
It has a "fruity-floral-woody" scent - it is OK.  I am very picky so I will pass on this...

Vitamine and Sea: Perfect Skin Solution
Full Size: 45ml @ $68, Sample Size: estimate 1.5ml @ $2.27
This has so much oil ingredients that I have to pass.  I tried it a bit and it just made my face too greasy.

Belvada: Harmony - Duo Lipstick
Full Size = Sample Size 3.4g @ $20
This is actually really nice.  This reminds me the CoverGirl duo lipstick that they launched awhile back...but this is much better.

The approximate value of this box is $30+

May 2012 Glymm box/bag

I'm impressed with this month's Glymm box.
Maybe they will start improving their samples...

They have eliminate the box (Thank God) and introducing the bag (Yeah!).
I am running out of space keeping all those boxes.
I really like the bag.  I wonder if they will always be bright pink or will it be different colour each month...
This really reminds me of MyGlam bag subscription.

We should be applying sunscreen all year round to prevent any sun damage.  I already have some minor ones.  :( I didn't put much sunscreen when I was in my 20s so I am paying for it now.

Nu.Me - HydroPunch Hydrating Conditioner

It is a good size.  I always run out of conditioner.  I use more conditioner than my shampoo.  I am always looking for the perfect conditioner to make my hair ultra soft...  no luck yet.

Cargo - eye shadow duo (Venna)

This is my first Cargo eye shadow.  One of Luxe box's FIL has a choice of Cargo eye shadow but I missed it but that is OK, I have this one... I love the colour.  It even has a hint of glitter in it.

Caudalie - Anti-ageing serum eye and lips
Full size 15ml @ $33, sample size 7ml @ $15.40
Sample Usage up to 40 uses (as per pamphlet)

This is a good sample size for me to try it out.  I am still looking for a good eye cream.  Love to see my dark circles disappear.

Cute packaging but not practically.  Once you open it, it will dry out over night.  I hope you kept some of those Sephora's containers.  I am going to use it to hold the reminder cream.  This two should be used together.  I wonder why they didn't mix it already or have them in the same bottle...

April 2012 Glymm Box

This month's Glymm box came without my tracking number.
This is the second time that happened.
The first time was with Luxe box.

Lucia - Soap No. 1
Full size: 8 soaps @ $17.50, sample size: 1 soap @ $2.19
It smells nice.  I have never tried Shea Butter soaps before.  I usually use Dove soap so I cant wait to try it.

Atelier Cologne - Orange Sanguine Fragrance
Full size: 30ml @ $60 or 200 ml @ $165, sample size: unknown
It is a little strong at first but it smells like fresh oranges which I like.  I wish it was a spray bottle sample.

Free Your Mane - Sulfate Free Hyfrating Shampoo & Conditioner
Full size: 300ml @ $16, sample size 2 x 7.4 ml @ $0.79
I dislike these one time use sample.  They could have giving another one or two since both of them combine are worth less than a dollar.  I wonder if it will be enough for long thick hair.

Mai Couture - social gloss (G'vinity)
Full size = sample size 5ml @ $28
I cant believe this tiny lip gloss is worth $28.  It is really nice.  I like the smell.  I found it really hydrates my lips.

Bonus (not)
$100 gift card to NuMe gift card only could be used for styling tools or hair extensions.
Not worth it since everything is over $100
I have seen this in MyGlam bag and I found they also didn't like it.

Can they redeem themselves in this month's box?

I think the Perfect is a primer & the Magic is a tinted moisturizer.  They smell great so I can't wait to try them.  I like the cute containers.  Once I am done I can reuse them.  I received both of M.ASAM products where as some received Anastasia miniature lipgloss.  What did you get?

Nu.Me - Feather hair extensions
Full size 3 strands for $25 = sample size
This company was featured in MyGlam Bag.  I am not sure what to make of this... ???? speechless
I seem to have the same reaction as others on their youtube videos.  The instructions looks complicated & I don't have extension pliers.  Maybe there might be a video to show you how to put it on.

Ocean Nail Polish
Full Size 15 ml @ $12 = sample size
Pretty nail polish.  Glittery.  It does not dry as fast as I wanted them to :(

February 2012 Glymm Box

My box took forever to get to me - at a snail pace.
I thought it will never get here.
I had a stressful time with their customer service.
Unbelievable right?
Well, I was trying to get a refund from a 3 months gift subscription that they re-charged on my credit card.
It took about three weeks to get my refund - I was worry they wouldn't give my money back.
Anyways, I am glad everything was all settled.

This is what is inside my Glymm box :

Sula: Eye shadow
Full size 0.15 oz @ $8, sample size = Full size
It goes on very lightly.  The colour looks OK on me.

Burt's Bees: Tinted Lip Balm
Full size 4.25g @ $7.99, sample size = Full size
I love lip balms.  When I put this on I don't see any colour on my lips.  I think that is OK.

Glamglow: Mud Mask
Full size 50ml @ $78, sample size 7ml @ $10.92
I have never tried a mud mask before.  I am afraid that I might break out.

Mai Couture: Blotting/Bronzing paper
Full size 100 sheets @ $24, sample size 2 sheets $0.48
Wow, two sheets...kinda disappointing.  I found this product too expensive for blotting paper even if it has a duel function as a bronzing paper.  I dont know about you but when I use blotting paper I use the whole sheet.  I don't know why Glymm said that it is good for 4 uses...

Total value of the box is $27+

Also, Glymm mentioned that they are replacing the Jelly Belly with something more better.  I assumed it was going to be in this box but I didn't see anything.

January 2012 Glymm Box

It is a foggy and rainy morning.
Trying to stay warm and dry...then I heard my door knocking.
I opened my door and saw the Canada Post truck drive away...Oooo!  My Glymm box has arrived.

Once I opened the box, this is what I've found:

Kaia Naturals: Juicy Bamboo Facial Cleansing Cloths
Full size 30 cloths @ $17.99, sample size is 1 cloth @ $0.60
This is very interesting.  I cant wait to try it.  I think this is a bit expensive for 30 cloths.  I never understand why bamboo products are so expensive when it is consider a weed in China.

Vasanti Cosmetics: BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator
Full size 120 ml @ $34, sample size is 12g @ $3.40
At first I thought it was a cream.  It is to ex-foliate your face.  It smells great and it feels like a face wash with very fine sand beach in it.

Anastasia Beverly Hills: Clear Brow Gel
Full size .28oz @ $21, sample size is 0.085oz @ $6.38
Never heard of brow gel before.  I am not sure how to use this item.  It looks like a mascara.

Burt's Bees: Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion
Full size 170 g @ $12.99, sample size is 14 ml(g) @ $1.07 (based on both pkg)
Not a big fan of their packaging.  Wish it was in a little container so it wont dry out if I dont use it all at once.  I have tried their lip balm and face wash but never their lotion.  I dont I like the smell, even if it smells like milk and honey.  The smell does goes away so that is OK.

Cargo Cosmetics: Eye Pencil
Full size 2 g @ $16 = sample size
I love full size samples.  Who does not :p.  I have growing collection of eye pencils.  LOL  I cannot tell the difference between this eye pencil than the other ones I have already.  At least I will still use it.


Total value of the box is $27.

They also have included a free lip shine from their boutique that is worth $25.  However, you have to purchase something first in order to receive the free item.  Not sure I will be using this.

Glymm Box - 2011 Holiday Edition

To my surprise - I received my December Glymm Box.
I was so excited I had to open it.  I could not wait for Christmas to open it.

Caudalie: Peel Mask - Full Size 40mL @ $40; sample size 3mL @ $3
This product line is too pricey for me.  I have tried it and it was OK.  It hydrated my skin.

Ahava: Hand Cream - Full Size 3.4 oz @ $20; sample size 0.68 @ $4
I was so happy to get to try something from Ahava.  I love the hand cream.  I love the smell on my hand but after awhile, I have to keep on replying it.  My hand is so dry during the winter season.  I think I need something a little strong.  I think this is great for the summer.   It is already in my purse.

Yves Saint Laurent: La Parisienne - Full Size 3oz @ $85; sample size 0.25 @ $7.08
My first perfume sample in a long time.  I remember they use give out in the little vile.  I like the bottle.  It is very cute.  Presentation is everything.  However, I am so afraid to spill it.  They should have added a spray top on it.  I love the smell.  So does my husband so that is a bonus.  I dont purchase perfume so I wont be buying the full size.

Sula Beauty: Lip Gloss - Full Size 0.5 oz @ $8; sample size = full size - YEAH!
It has an interesting smell.  Not sure what it is.  It almost smell like bubble gum paint.  I don't like I like the smell.  The colour is pale pink so it emphasizes your natural lip colour.

Glymm gift card - $10 off on their on-line store - double yeah.
I think I will be using this coupon.  Not sure what I will buy but I have time to think about it.

Dont forget the jelly beans.  This time they gave me cherry and chocolate favour.  I love them.  Better than last time - coffee favour = gross...

Total value for this box is $22+ but if you add in the gift card it will be $32+
