Products I love from L'Occitane ~ #Review

There are two amazing L'Occitane products you have to try - Cleansing Water and the One Minute Hand Scrub.  I apply a couple of pumps of the Cleansing Water onto to a cotton pad and watch how easily my makeup is removed.  I can take off my eye makeup without making my eyes burn.  The best part of the Cleansing Water is the scent.  It has the distinctive scent that reminds me of the original L'Occitane famous hand cream.  The Cleansing water feels like I am just pumping plain water onto the cotton pad.   It is not greasy and it softens my skin from the shea butter extract.  It makes my skin feels refreshed and it is great for all skin types, even sensitive skin.

April 22, 2018 is Earth Day.  Back in December 2017, L'OCCITANE Canadian flagship boutique at the Yorkdale Shopping Centre was fully redesigned with a strong sustainability focus at its core. For the first time in North America, L’OCCITANE Yorkdale offers an in-store bottling recycling program in partnership with Terracycle. Customers can bring in any full size product of any brand to recycle, and will receive a 10% discount on any purchase.

L’OCCITANE strives to positively contribute to the environment in other ways as well. Our packaging uses already-recycled materials, most notably our Eco-Refills offer bestselling formulas with 80% less plastic than a bottle.

Keep Yourself Hydrated During the Winter with L'Occitane ~ #Review

This winter has been awful to my skin. You would not believe how dry it has been - from the top of my head down to the bottoms of my toes. My hands are so rough it feels like I could never get them hydrated.  When it gets bad they would itch and crack.

I love my original L'Occitane Shea Butter hand cream. This has always been their top seller and after trying it the first time years ago I could see why.  It quickly moisturizers my hands to remove the dries and it smells like baby powder.  The original has 20% of their signature Shea butter.  This year they released the Intensive Hand Balm with 25%  Shea butter.  It smells and feels almost like the original but slightly more creamier. I think more Shea butter the better.

As the song goes, I can see why Santa needs to make a list and checking it twice.  In my list, none of them are naughty because they are all nice.   I forgot my list at home as I was doing my shopping for my daughters' teachers and friends.  As I stood in the isle I had to see if I missed anyone.   I have to give something everyone and I hope that I didn't miss anyone.  If I did miss someone I just have to run back to one of my favourite store, L'Occitane and they have what I need.

Winter is long and some days it is harsh.  My skin is taking a toll with the flash of cold and dry heat when I am in and out of the house.  When I am indoors all day, the dry heat just eliminates my skin moisture.  In the evenings before I go to bed, I like to put on a very hydrating facial cream that would keep my skin hydrated all night long.  These past few nights my skin can't get enough of L'Occitane Face Soothing Fluid.

L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime ~ #Review & #Giveaway

Do you recall that I wrote a review on how much I love Pivoine Sublime lip balm? Well, I love it and I used it often over the past few months. I love the scent and it contains 25 SPF to help protect my lips from UVA/B. I apply sunscreen all over my body and I keep on forgetting to apply on my lips.  Now, I don't have to worry getting sun burned on my lips.

The Pivoine Sublime tinted lip balms is a must have for this Summer. It comes in 4 shades: transparent, rose, beige, plum, and red. The lip balm has a great floral scent and I think there is even a hint of cherries.
