If I were to decide if I wanted a handwritten letter or a typed out one, of course I would like a handwritten one.  When a letter or note is handwritten, it makes it so much personal and special.  I was invited to a Hallmark "Behind the Letter" event.  There was a display full of Mother's Day gift ideas.  There were a few items I would love to have on Mother's Day.  Scattered through the room were lovely Mother's Day hallmark cards.  We were able to pick a few and write to our Mothers, Aunts, or Grandmothers.  Hallmark would kindly send them out for us.

I am so happy that Spring is finally here.   I can’t wait to finally put away my winter coat and boots.  Two big events are coming up – Easter and Mother’s Day.  Well, three events if you count my birthday too.  Hallmark has some great products in stock to help you celebrate these events. 

Hallmark Mother's Day Gift Ideas ~ #Review

When Easter has ended, we are all geared up for Mother's Day.  I think it should be a national holiday.  Being a mom is learning to juggle and hoping nothing will drop.  There is always an endless list of things to do and we can only do so much in a day.  So many times the laundry and dishes get left undone because they are always the last in my list.  I believe most mothers will agree with me that we put our kids first.  We are the caregiver, the teacher, the provider, a role model, and the rock that keeps the family together.  I doubt there is nothing I would do for my little girls like what my mother did for me when growing up.  To show our appreciation to our Mother's, Hallmark has a few ideas to help us to prepare for the day.

This is what I bought for my mom:

• The Body Shop - Wild Rose Hand cream, I have mentioned before here.
• Victoria Secret - Very Sexy perfume
• Cargo - black eye liner
• Chocolate

We took my mom out for brunch at our usual Dim Sum restaurant.
I really dont know why we call it Dim Sum.
The literal Cantonese Chinese translation is "Drink Tea".
According to Wikipedia, Dim Sum was never referred to as a meal but as a snack.

My favourite places are little old ladies pushing carts and yelling out what they have...almost like cigarette girls.
They are also cheaper then all day Dim Sum.

Today we bought our first watermelon this year to celebrate.

Later in the afternoon we bought our Starbuck's Frappuccino to end this wonderful day.
