Winter is long and some days it is harsh. My skin is taking a toll with the flash of cold and dry heat when I am in and out of the house. When I am indoors all day, the dry heat just eliminates my skin moisture. In the evenings before I go to bed, I like to put on a very hydrating facial cream that would keep my skin hydrated all night long. These past few nights my skin can't get enough of L'Occitane Face Soothing Fluid.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal ExtraSensitive ~ #Review #Giveaway
I am not surprised to hear that 1 in 5 Canadian women have very sensitive skin. I have a co-worker, a close girlfriend, and my baby girl all have sensitive skin. It is not easy to live with it and decide which product works and which doesn't. Learning from experience, my daughters easily gets itchy and irritated skin and I would try many products to see what would ease her suffering.

L'Occitane Hydra Vital Gel ~ #Review
The summer is now in full swing since school was out. I am so happy that there have been only a few days where it was really hot and humid. Luckily it cools down at night so the house is at the perfect temperature. One would assume my skin wouldn't be dehydrated as much as it is during the winter but alas, my skin has its mind of its own and stays dehydrated regardless of the season. It is not as severe but I still need something that is not too thick but light enough that relaxes my skin. Any heavy cream apply during the summer would just melt my makeup right off and would feel gross. Gel is usually the best option so I tried L'Occitane Hydra Vital Gel during the summer to hydrate my skin.

The Body Shop Aqua Boost Sorbet ~ #Review
For the longest time I thought I had both dry and oily skin. I knew I had oily skin because by the afternoon my face gets shiny and oily. I have to use paper to blot it to remove the excess. However, I have flaky skin around my nose so that is why I thought I had dry skin. I was incorrect until I had my skin analyzed and found out I do have oily skin but dehydrated. Regardless I drink plenty of water, but the air is sucking me dry. You might assume it would be only the winter but it is actually all year round. If you have dry or dehydrated skin, you have to try The Body Shop Aqua Boost Sorbet (50ml, $20).

Now that is officially Fall and so far the weather has been decent. There were a few times it has been cool but I had tried to hold it off turning on the furnace. I am try to limit the time I have the furnace on recently. Vichy at Luminato Festival (III) ~ #VichyLuminato #Review
I wasn't kidding when I tell you I have the most problematic skin and this is the last batch I received from the Luminato event.
I don't think I could stress how much I love their new Vichy Aqualia Thermal Night Spa. I have mentioned in my previous post and many beauty bloggers also share my same enthusiasm. I don't think I could live without this new night cream. If you have not tried it, you have to. If you have dehydrated or dry skin this might be the magic cream you have beenwaiting for. I apply a thin layer on my skin and makes it feels wonderful in the morning.
