Sometimes it is so easy to get a birthday present for my mother and girlfriends and there are times I am having a hard time finding them the perfect gift. I can't speak for all women but I think we do love skin care/beauty products. I would highly suggest EOS products - lip balm, lotion, and even shaving cream.

Coconut has been my weakness. If there are choices to be made, anything with coconut will most likely be my top choice. I crave the taste and the smell. One time I was in the subway and someone was wearing coconut scented lotion or body spray and I wanted to find what she was wearing.  I was tempted to follow her but that would be too creepy.  After searching high and low and I believe I have found it. I think she was wearing I Love...(Cosmetics) coconut scented body butter or the body spritzer.

Sometimes it is best to purchase two of the same item so you can keep one and give one away. Unless you plan to keep both of them, maybe you might need to purchase three of them. I have a few addictions and one of them is my love of hand creams. It is really hard not to visit the hand cream isle when I am shopping at a drug store or a store that sells body care. I love to see and try anything new and always looking to see if my favourites are on sale. I have been slowly trying to finish what I have because I have many half finished tubes and jars all over the house and the office. There is still a long list of hand creams I have yet to cross off my list I want to try. Recently I received I Love.... (Cosmetics) I wanted to try for them for longest time. I have no idea why I waited so long because it now became one of my favourites.

Who has been counting the days until March 20, which marks the first day of Spring?  I can't believe this is one of the most bitter Winters we had in a long time.  We had one too many days where the temperature dropped where your skin can freeze within 5 minutes standing in the cold.  Plus it was the first time I had a hard time breathing because it was so cold.   My skin is taking a toll in these extreme weather conditions.  I hate to be off guard without any moisturizers by my side.  Lately I have been keeping The Body Shop's Hemp Hand Protector in my purse.

Nivea: Body Milk ~ #Review

It has been my first time in years since I used Nivea hand cream products.
When I think of Nivea, I think back in the '80s when my mom use to use them.
Did you know they have been around since 1911?
I had no clue.
I purchased the Nivea Extra Nourishing Body Milk body lotion during one of those Shoppers Redemption days and I even used a $3 off coupon.
It contains almond oil and it is for dry or very dry skin.
The cream is a little more liquidity than other body cream.
It smells like unscented cream and absorbs pretty quickly but leaves a feeling of of a mild coating of oil on my hand.
It hydrates my hands but I doubt everyone would like how the almond oil feels their hands after applying some of this cream.
Overall, I do like this product and I usually use it during the evenings.
This product is available in all drug store.
I also have seen more $3 coupons floating around.

Crabtree and Evelyn - Rosewater ~ #Review

I am slowly introducing my collection of hand creams.
This one was introduced by my belated mother-in-law.
She loved Crabtree & Evelyn.
Her favourite collection is the Rosewater.
I didn't think I will like it but I absolutely adore it.
I believe it is C$19.
It is one of those hand cream that I am trying to make it last.
They also just launched a new collection this year - Avocado, Olive & Basil.
I will keep you posted on that one.

Love the L'Occitane hand cream

Did I mentioned I have an addiction to hand creams :)
Last month I "liked" L'Occitane on their facebook page and received a free hand cream worth C$12.
Who does not like FREE samples!
I have never tried their products until that day I went to pick it up my hand cream.
In addition to the free hand cream I receive 15% off regular price any item in the store.
Everything is a bit out of my price range but I guess that is what you pay for items made in France.
I used the coupon to purchase the full size C$30 hand cream because I fell in love with it.
Also, I received more free mini samples because I purchased an item at the store.
They had fantastic sales reps.  They were so nice and very helpful.
I have yet to try the mini samples.

Fruits and Passion - Monoi

I love hand creams.
I love Fruits & Passion's Nourishing Butter line of hand creams.
They are C$22.50 each but one day they had a sale - one item at 40% off.
It was so hard to pick just one.
I love the smell of Monoi's Nourishing Butter, it is so addictive.
I hope I will see that sale again.

Yummy Guava

Picked these up at Sephora awhile ago and fell in love with them.
I have never hear of this company before so I thought I would try them out.
Korres came to Canada in 2011 and you can get them at either Shoppers Drug Mart or Sephora.

I love both the lip & body butter.
I can't believe how yummy they smell.
I have read reviews how much they love Korres' lip butter but the only downside is the price.
If you read how they make their stuff with all natural products it makes sense why it cost so much.
Good stuff are never cheap but if they do go on sale you better stock up!  LOL
Try them out and you will be surprise how much you will fall in love with them.
