Sorry for non-posting for the past few days.  I just needed a break.

If you were wondering where I went this weekend - I went to Winners :)
Was that a shock?

Winners is TJX or Marshalls in the US (in case you were wondering).
One of the major reason why I went is if I spend over C$75 I receive 500 Scene points.
Scene points are Cineplex points that if we accumulate 1000 points we get a free movie admission.
This promotion is happening until August 31st
If you are planning to spend C$75, bring a copy of this page and they will give you a pin card to enter on Scene's website to receive the points.
Furthermore, if you have TJX membership cardholder (like me), you receive an additional 250 points when you enter in your card # on the website.  No pin card/code required.

If you have not noticed.  It is one of my hot spot.
There are about 3 Winners stores I go to regularly and a few more if I drive.
I am a sucker for deals.
I purchase most of my beauty items at Winners.
However, it is a hit or miss so I never know what is in store.
So far these are what was in stores this past weekend.

Shoes!!

I am very picky when I am shopping for shoes.

I wish I could wear sneakers all the time but unfortunately my work places does not allows them - even on casual Fridays.

If I could I would love to wear 3" heels but all I could wear is 1" or 1 1/2"...so sad.

I was at Winners and I bought these pair of shoes.

They look really nice but I dont really find them all that comfortable.

I am not sure if I have to "break" them in first or they just suck.

I wore them in the office for about 5-10 mins and I am thinking of returning...but they are so pretty - decisions, decisions, decisions.

Maybe it is just too good to be true.

It was tasty.  It takes like flavoured water.
It had some frozen black berries floating at the top.
I think that was a nice touch.

Today I did some window shopping at Winners.
Nothing new at the beauty section so I didnt take any pictures.
However, I noticed some headphones are on sale.
My husband always need a new set of headphones.
It never last more than 3 months on him.

This one was so cute I had to take a picture.

Fekkai at Winners

This weekend I did a quick pop over to my local Winners.
Nothing much but I have seen a few of Cargo and NARS makeup...(sorry no photos).
I also saw Fekkai set for C$19.99.
Never tried them yet.
I have too much hair product to go through first.
I dont think I would purchase expensive shampoo or conditioners.
I go through them too quickly so I will pass on this one.

Living Proof

I popped over to Winners the other day.
Saw this display in the front of the beauty isle.
Both trial kits are for C$19.99.
I am not sure if these are any good.
I received an email from MyGlam that their exclusive deal is US$35 from Living proof's website.
I was not interested so I didnt purchase it.
I just have too much hair product I need to go through first.

Did you join?
The only reason why I am joining is getting the 30 days return policy instead of 10.
One time I almost missed returning some items because I am so use to other companies return policy of 30 or 90 days.
I knew they were going to launch some kind of rewards card because I filled out a survey last year.
What they wanted to do was so confusing.
Cant remember the details but they want you to spend $50+ to receive a point.
I told them that was dumb idea :)
Too bad they dont give you points for free stuff...

I was at my local Canadian Winners (that sells Runway clothes) and you wont believe what I've found.
If you have not checked out the beauty aisle in your local Winners/Marshalls/HomeSense - you must, you have to, it is life or death...ok, it is not that bad.
I have found GlamGlow in Winners.
They sell it on Glymm's website for C$78 and last month they were C$50 for a limited time.
They had about 8 boxes sitting there and they were selling it for C$39.99.
Wow!
No, I didn't purchase one because it is not my cup of tea.
I used it twice and it burned than a tingle.
Then 15 mins later my face was smooth for about 10 mins then nothing...bummer.

I also found Prada shoes for kids.  They had  a price tag for C$129.99...
