Sorry for non-posting for the past few days.  I just needed a break.
I am back!  Did you miss me?

If you were wondering where I went this weekend - I went to Winners :)
Was that a shock?

Winners is TJX or Marshalls in the US (in case you were wondering).
One of the major reason why I went is if I spend over C$75 I receive 500 Scene points.
Scene points are Cineplex points that if we accumulate 1000 points we get a free movie admission.
This promotion is happening until August 31st
If you are planning to spend C$75, bring a copy of this page and they will give you a pin card to enter on Scene's website to receive the points.
Furthermore, if you have TJX membership cardholder (like me), you receive an additional 250 points when you enter in your card # on the website.  No pin card/code required.

I bought a pair of shoes for my daughter, myself, a can of chocolate peanuts, and a mug with tea (picture not shown).

Back to School Shopping

I cant believe school starts in less than 4 weeks which means summer is almost over.
I remember when I was young I would get all the flyers and start circling what I need/want before I started school.
I still have alot to purchase but this is a starts...

Shoes!!

I am very picky when I am shopping for shoes.

I wish I could wear sneakers all the time but unfortunately my work places does not allows them - even on casual Fridays.

If I could I would love to wear 3" heels but all I could wear is 1" or 1 1/2"...so sad.

I was at Winners and I bought these pair of shoes.

They look really nice but I dont really find them all that comfortable.

I am not sure if I have to "break" them in first or they just suck.

I wore them in the office for about 5-10 mins and I am thinking of returning...but they are so pretty - decisions, decisions, decisions.

Maybe it is just too good to be true.

Korres: Raspberry Antioxidant Liquid Lipstick Trio

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Korres at Winner's.
Yipee!
They are so expensive at Sephora that I had to get them.
I bought Korres: Raspberry Antioxidant Liquid Lipstick Trio (Soft Pink, Berry, and Red)
Each of these lipstick are C$29 (according to Sephora's website).
I bought 3 of them for $9.99!!!
It is almost like I've struck gold.
It has a cooling sensation when I apply it on my lips - it is pretty cool (*no pun intended*)
At first I thought it was lip gloss because of the applicator.
It is amazing and I can't believe how much I love it.
Lately I have been using the Red.
It is deep and bright - great for the summer.
I bet these were sold out in matter of days.

Essie's Duo Nail Polish

I was at my favourite store the other day - Winners!
It is the place to shop.
I think I go there almost every week.
If I had it my way I would go there every other day :)
It is like a treasure hunt.  Never know what you might find.

I picked up Essie's mini duo nail polish for C$4.99.
They are my first Essie's nail polish to add to my collection.
I think these are great colours for Summer.
The Super Bossa Nova took two coats but the Braziliant took about 4 coats to get it right!

I had another choice of blue & purple but I think this combo is better.
Did you think I made the right choice?

Thymes: Sweetleaf Baby ~ #Review

Don't you love the smell of a baby?
Not when they have dirty diaper of course. Hahahaha

They smell like baby powder and baby lotion - something you want to sniff all day.
Today I bought Thymes: Sweetleaf Baby at Winners.
It smells wonderful.

I love going to Winners.
They are having their semi-annual final clearance sale.
This was like a treasure hunt because it in the clearance shelves.
Wished I was there a few minutes earlier because a lady walked out with a bunch of make-up kits from the clearance section...

Baked goods purchases

When I have the time, I love to bake.
I also love baking gadgets.   New tools makes you want to bake some more.
My favourite and #1 store to go to is HomeSense.
If I have tons of money, I would redecorate my house with that store.
If I can't find what I am looking at HomeSense I would go to Amazon.ca or Michael's for my purchases.
I think I went crazy, look what I have bought...

This all cost me a little over $18 (taxes included).
One of my order was in backorder which brought my order over $25 for free shipping.
They said it will take awhile so they are sending me these items first.
I have placed this order a month ago.  They wanted to wait for the last item but found out it will take even more time for that to arrive.
