P. King Duckling is a cute and funny cartoon that my youngest enjoys watching.  It is shown on Disney Junior Channel.  P. King Duckling joins with his two pals, Wombat and Chumpkin in his daily adventures.  P. King Duckling always has these crazy or interesting ideas your kids will enjoy watching.  First he wants to be a pastry chef then the next episode he wants to be an explorer.  My favourite episode is that P. King discovered that ducks can fly so he believes he can fly too.  After many unsuccessful attempts he learns that not all ducks can fly.  There is a hidden message in this episode that you don't have to be like everyone else, just be yourself.

Holiday season is the time we all love to hang out with our family for the next month and binge watch all kinds of Christmas movies and TV shows.  My daughters and I have always enjoyed watching My Little Pony TV shows.  My daughters got me hooked on them.  Each episodes are fun to watch especially Heartbreakers since it is about Pinky Pie family and Apple Jack family celebrating the holiday together.  It is always interesting to learn more information on each of the main characters.

Harajuku Lovers was created by Gwen Stefani way back in 2004.  It was her perfume bottle design of cute little girls.  Harajuku is a neigbourhood in Toyko that you must visit if you were going to travel in Japan.  It is a trendy and hip shopping district.  Gwen created a kids TV show based on her Harajuku Lovers dolls.  In case you are wondering, Kawaii means Cute in Japanese.   It is an animated children TV series that follows a 5 girls music band, HJ5.  You will meet Love, Angel, Music, Baby and the leader of the band "G" (aka Gwen) which really looks like Gwen Stefani.

I just can't believe I have been watching My Little Pony since it was released back in 2010.  Can you believe they are on their 7th season?  It is lasting much longer than the original ones dated back in the 80s.   When you didn't think it gets even better, Hasbro released Equestria Girls back in 2013.  I love how they took the characters and transform them into humanoid girls.  I enjoyed watching all of the Equestria Girls movies that I wanted to see more of them and lucky me, they created three additional specials episodes and it is now available all in one DVD.

I remember when Gwen Stefani released her own line of perfume and the bottles were shaped into little dolls called Harajuku Lovers.  Harajuku is a area in Toyko and it is one of the popular places to visit.  Over a decade later, Gwen Stefani now created a kids TV show based on the dolls called Kuu Kuu Harajuku.  It is an animated tv series that follows a 5 girls music band, HJ5.  You will meet Love, Angel, Music, Baby and the leader of the band "G" (Gwen) which really looks like Gwen Stefani.

It is a 2D animation and not your usual CG ones that many cartoons have covered over.  Their theme song is kinda catchy.  You can get the full version sung by Gwen Stefani.  I would have love this show if "G" voice was actually Gwen's voice.  This DVD is OK and my girls did enjoy watching it.

Shout! Factory My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic: Twilight and Starlight DVD ~ #Review

Can you believe that there are 7 seasons of My Little Pony?  I still watch it with my daughters.  I remember watching the original My Little Pony back in the 80s but this is much better.

This is another great DVD to add to your My Little Pony collection.  If you know the history of Twilight Sparkle, you will know she has gained so much knowledge and experience of Friendship that she is now crowned as the Princess of Friendship.  Now, she has a new protege, Starlight Glimmer, whom Twilight has taken under her wing (literally) and to guide her all about friendship.  If you don't know who is Starlight Glimmer, I would suggest you check out My Little Pony – Friendship Is Magic: Exploring the Crystal Empire DVD first.  You can read the review here.  I don't want any spoilers here but I have to mention that both my daughters and I enjoyed watching this DVD and wants more to see more of Starlight Glimmer.

It also known as Miraculous, les aventures de Ladybug et Chat Noir. The past year I have been ranting and raving about how much I enjoy Ladybug and Cat Noir.  After one episode I was hooked.

It has become one of the top Nickelodeon TV shows.  It has become so popular that there will be an additional two seasons and season 2 will air this Summer of 2017.  I am so excited I can't wait.  My daughters are looking forward to it and counting down the days.

When it get too cold or wet outside to play, it is usually the perfect time to pop in some movies for all of us to watch together.  My kids love to watch their all time favourite My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic show. My oldest daughter has been watching them since it was first released on TV.  The girls enjoyed watching My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic: Exploring the Crystal Empire.  In this DVD, we watched what would happen if the ponies never met when they were kids.  We also meet Starlight who has magic that is more powerful than Twilight.  Can you believe that?  If you didn't notice, Twilight is also an aunt.  You will meet her niece and be amazed by how much magic a baby has.

The story of The Little Prince is well known across the world.  I grew up watching The Little Prince when it was aired on television.  Now, my kids are enjoying the new animated series.  This DVD is based on a little boy named "The Little Prince" and he lives on a planet called B612 with his Rose and Fox.  The Little Prince would travel planet to planet to save it from the evil Snake.  This time the evil Snake kidnaps The Little Prince's Rose.  Together with his fox, The Little Prince travels all over the galaxy trying to find clues where the planet of the snake is and where his kidnapped Rose is.  When they finally found the planet, The Little Prince discovered so much history of the evil Snake.  Does he save his rose from the evil Snake?  I guess you have to find out by watching this DVD.

These days my youngest daughter has been requesting to watch Ladybug and Cat Noir...again.  If you have never heard of them before you are just in luck.  It has become one of the top Nickelodeon TV shows.  It is all about superheros saving the day.  I was surprised at how much I enjoyed watching it with the kids.  Shout! Factory has just released its third DVD of LadyBug & Cat Noir to add to your collection.  I found this is the most important DVD since it contains how Ladybug and Cat Noir became to be.  It also contain some hints who is the villain behind the mask.  No spoilers here so you have to figure it out by watching this DVD.  If you collect all three Ladybug & Cat Noir DVDs, you can have a great movie marathon weekend with or without the kids.

During the winter season my daughters and I tend to watch alot of movies.  We like our lazy Sunday afternoons and do nothing except watch movies.  Sometimes we have a marathon and watch a whole season or two.  After watching one or maybe two episodes of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir my daughter and I were seriously hooked.  We watched both DVDs and we wanted more.  These are great gift ideas and great for the whole family to watch.

Zoo Kept Koala meets Koala from the wild.  This is a pretty funny movie.  You will meet Blinky Bill who has wonderlust to travel the world just like his dad, especially to visit the "Sea of White Dragons".  After a year, Blinky's dad never came back so he went off to his own adventure to find his dad.  Then he found a Koala, Nusty, in a cage who he "saved", but it turns out that she didn't need saving.  Then Blinky Bill goes off further into the wild to help Nusty to find her zoo and his dad.    My kids enjoyed the movie and I think your kids will enjoy it too!

I have to admit that having daughters is a wonderful thing.  They made me learn new toys and cartoons since I haven't been following them for a long time.  My Little Pony was one of my favourite shows growing up and I love the rebooted version.  My Little Pony is watched by not only little girls but they also have a large older audience.  I was so excited when they released My Little Pony Equestria Girls Movies.  After watching the amazing 3 movies, I hoped they will make another one.  The wait is now over.  My Little Pony Equestria Girls - Legend of Everfree will be released November 1, 2016.

When my girls were younger I use to read them Guess How Much I love you.  It is a story where Little and Big Nutbrown Hare expresses their love for each other.  Now, their is a television series based on Little and Big Nutbrown Hare.  In each episode Little Nutbrown Hare and his friend Little Field Mouse goes off to an exciting adventure like building a spider web or creating a collection of fantastic things.  At the end of each episode Little and Big Nutbrown Hare professes their love for each other and that always warms my heart.  Each episode is just over a minute long.   It is short and sweet.
