During the winter season my daughters and I tend to watch alot of movies.  We like our lazy Sunday afternoons and do nothing except watch movies.  Sometimes we have a marathon and watch a whole season or two.  After watching one or maybe two episodes of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir my daughter and I were seriously hooked.  We watched both DVDs and we wanted more.  These are great gift ideas and great for the whole family to watch.

It all takes place in Paris.  We meet two high school students, Marinette (Ladybug) and Adrien (Cat Noir) battling evil released from Hawk Moth.  You would enjoy watching Ladybug and Cat Noir team up and fight the battle of evil.  There is also a love triangle that Marinette has a crush on Adrien and Adrien has a crush on Ladybug.  Marienette does not know that Adrien is actually Cat Noir and Adrien does not know Marienette is really Ladybug. I love the series and I can't wait for more.

Becoming Ladybug is a complicated process. First, Marinette needs a "Kwami," which is a tiny magical assistant (called Tikki). She also needs a "Miraculous," which is a magical accessory (her special pair of earrings). Tikki uses the Miraculous to transform Marinette, but her Ladybug super powers only work for a limited time!

It is a good thing that she gets a little help from her superhero partner, Cat Noir even though she insists she doesn't need him. If only she knew Cat Noir's true identity – her school crush, Adrien! It will take a lot – friendship, teamwork and skill – to outwit Hawk Moth. Will Ladybug and Cat Noir be able to balance their double lives and keep Paris safe? Will they ever find out each other's true identity? Until then – there is a whole city of baddies to defeat… SPOTS ON, CLAWS OUT!
