Real Techniques for Christmas ~ #Review #2014ChristmasGiftGuide #Giveaway

Last month I was very fortunate to meet the Pixiwoo Sisters, Nic and Sam, during their Road Show. They are two successful makeup artists in London. They started way back in 2008 when they posted their first YouTube makeup tutorial. 6 years later, they have become YouTube sensations with over 1.7 Million subscribers. Back in 2011, they launched their own makeup brush line known as Real Techniques. When I was first introduced them I was amazed how much I loved their brushes. I have tried a few brands but I really love using my Real Technique brushes.

Real Techniques

The Travel Essentials comes with

  • essential foundation brush: Build flawless custom coverage with liquid foundation or concealer
  • multi task brush: for effortless application of powder, blush, and bronzer
  • domed shadow brush: tapered design smoothly shades and defines eyes in all panoramic brush case is a 2-in-1 case + stand

I love taking this kit to the office where I have been putting my makeup on in the morning. It has all the tools I need for the simple office look. The brushes are soft on my skin. The foundation brush is chucky, the way I like it. They are easy to use and to clean. I use the muli-take as my blush brush but it could be also be used for bronzing.

The Duo Fiber Collection comes with

  • duo-fiber face brush: for lightweight application
  • duo-fiber contour brush: for controlled contouring and sculpting
  • duo-fiber eye brush: for finishing touches to the eye

Ultra-plush, synthetic bristles are hand-cut and 100% cruelty-free and extended aluminum handles are light and easy to use

This is another set of great brushes. I use the domed shadow brush to apply my eye shadows and I use the duo-fiber eye brush to blend the eye shadows or if I want to use a little shimmer. These Duo Fiber brushes do not have the same thickness as the Travel Essentials. I really like the white tips on the brushes so I know how clean they are. This brush set is also soft on my skin and I love using it all the time.

I love these two set of brushes.  I cannot decide which I like more.

    These look like incredible brushes. I always end up with brushes that lose bristles which is really annoying. I will have to go see if I can find this brand of brushes. Thanks for the great post!

    Everyone knows it's important to use good brushes when applying your makeup and these brushes look like they're high quality and I love the carrying case for them
