My girlfriend is amazing and creative. Unfortunately, her son can't eat cake. I think he is allergic to dairy and cake has lots of cream and icing. So on his birthday she made him a Rice Krispie cake. It was amazing. As you can see, she did the Spiderman Rice Krispie cake you see above.
One time, I was was watching a cooking show where there was a face-off and they were using Rice Krispies squares to help them to make a part of the design. They were impressive art work and the winner won $10K. I am not as skilled as my girlfriend or a chef but I will roll up my sleeve and tackle this #TreatsforToys challenge.
My mission is to make a toy out of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies. I needed to make the Rice Krispies squares first which I made at 1am. I let it cooled and in the morning I made a big Lego piece. As you can see I am not great at sculpting. I bet anyone can create something much more better than I can.
I have a Kellogg’s Rice Krispies kit to giveaway. Here is your chance to create something magically this year. Have fun and let your creativity shine.
The holidays are filled with magic and joy. The magic of spending time with family and loved ones. The magic of believing in miracles. And the joy of watching the eyes of children shine as they unwrap heartfelt gifts. For the third year in a row, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies is partnering with The Salvation Army for the #TreatsforToys program; a fun and delicious way to turn treats into toys and help make holiday magic happen for less fortunate kids in our communities.
Make. Share. Give.
The Kellogg’s Rice Krispies #TreatsforToys program helps bring a smile to children in need by encouraging Canadians to make a toy-shaped Rice Krispies treat and share a picture of it on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook using the #TreatsforToys hashtag. For every image uploaded from now until December 21, 2015, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies will donate $20 to The Salvation Army to buy a toy for a child in need during the festive season.
