Vichy Ideal Body Cream ~ #Review

I hate the feeling of dry skin. It irritates my body. If the lotion is not thick enough it does very little hydrating my skin. I hate to constantly reapply lotions when I just applied some on a second ago. Depending on the season I change up my lotions depending on what my body needs. Lately I am a big fan of Vichy Ideal Body Serum-Milk and the Ideal Body Balm.

Vichy Ideal Body Cream

It is just too bad Vichy Ideal body cream does not give me the "Ideal Body" by helping me shed 20-30 pounds of my body weight by applying the cream.  However, it does give me the ideal body of smooth, healthy and hydrated skin. The Vichy Ideal Body product is to help women achieve their best skin.

I love the Ideal Body Balm. It is rich and creamy, perfect for my very dehydrated skin. Fall and winter makes my skin ridiculously dry so I like to slap some the balm in the evening and immediately my skin feels hydrated. It absorbs quickly but temporarily leaves a slight sticky feeling on my skin then it goes away after it has been fully absorbed.

This Balm combines LHA, hyaluronic acid and the benefits of 10 fundamental oils, resulting in greater effectiveness. Continuous hydration, firmer and smoother skin, and more even skin tone. With its compact, buttery appearance, this balm’s texture will surprise you. Upon its first contact with the skin, the balm is transformed into a sensual, melting cream, which produces a “cocoon” effect. As a “cushiony balm” of enriched ingredients, it reinforces the firmness and smoothness of the skin and results in an improved skin tone.
The presence of Shea butter enhances the nourishing and soothing properties of this especially moisturizing balm. The Ideal Body Balm’s thick and creamy texture makes it the ideal choice for dry and very dry skin types.

The Serum-milk has a light and gentle texture. It is creamy and absorbs quickly and leaves my skin non greasy and hydrated. This is a perfect lotion for this summer.

A valuable combination of LHA and hyaluronic acid, with 10 fundamental oils. Skin is more moisturized, nourished and smooth. With daily use, this “radiant care” product transforms the complexion and skin tone is improved. Its hydrating power continues and, in time, plays an active role in improving the skin’s elasticity and firmness, as demonstrated by the results of the clinical tests.
The Ideal Body Serum-Milk is made up of hyaluronic acid polymer of high molecular weight (generally used, in the same concentration, in the Vichy skin care serum products) and a new sodium polyacrylate polymer. This product is hypoallergenic, highly protective and is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive.
This skin care product has an innovative texture - between milk and serum – which is characterized by the liquidity of its emulsifying gel.
After just one application, the Ideal Body Serum-Milk provides an immediate feeling of freshness, without sticking to the skin. This Serum-Milk is infinitely gentle and has a subtle floral fragrance, fresh and amber-scented.

Both products have a scent I am having trouble describing. I am not sure but I think they have scents of cucumbers.  It said it has a floral scent but I didn't notice it.  It is light and not over powering.
This fragrance has been carefully developed to minimize the risk of allergies.

  2. Ugh I dislike having dry skin, plus it's so itchy. I have heard of the Vichy brand but never tried, will have to give these a try

  3. I will have to try this. My biggest issue with lotions is when they do not absorb and just sit on my skin so that I can feel them! WORST FEELING EVER!!! So my skin tends to get quite dry in winter months because there are very few lotions I can tolerate. I will have to check out vichy though. sounds great!

  9. I do like Vichy and this sounds as good as the rest that I've tried. It's my legs at the moment where the skin's getting very dry and flaky, this would no doubt help :-)
