Maybelline is Here For Your Holiday Look ~ #Review #2014ChristmasGiftGuide #Giveaway

I love wearing lip stick since it provides the dark shades that I like. When I was at Shoppers Drug Mart and the Sales Assistance asked me what lip stick I was wearing because she loved what I was wearing. At that time I was wearing Maybelline Colour Sensational #410 Blissful Berry and I love how dark it is. I love the texture of the lip stick and excited that Maybelline expanded their line by adding matte lipstick.



This season it all about matte lipstick to make the lips soft looking, giving the lips a dreamy, creamy feel. Old formulas used powders to absorb oil and reduce shine, but Maybelline has created the perfect combination of mattifying cream and saturated color for a feminine, sophisticated look that is sensuous, yet chic. Just in time for the holidays.

I received the #690 Siren in Scarlet (left) and #655 Daringly Nude (right) to test. I love the texture of the lipstick and it is so easy to use. The Siren in Scarlet is like a poppy red that makes my lips pop. The texture is a mix of creamy and powdery. They look great on my lips and the Siren in Scarlet looks like the red is my natural lip colour. You could hardly tell I am wearing lip stick almost like a stain. It does not last long as a lip stain but there is still a hint of colour when I wipe it off with a napkin.
