My Little Pony: EQUESTRIA GIRLS: RAINBOW ROCKS ~ #Review

I had a fantastic time with my girls watching My LITTLE PONY EQUESTRIA GIRLS: RAINBOW ROCKS in theaters this past weekend. I grew up watching My Little Pony back in the 80's and I am impressed with their Re-vamp and created My Little Pony: The Friendship of Magic. Now they added another spin and created My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. The first movie in 2013 was success they had to make another one. I agree to one of their new song that this movie is “Better Than Ever”.

The gang is all back including Sunshine Sparkle and this time they formed a band, The Rainbooms, to battle of the bands to defeat the Sirens, The Dazzlings. If you love the music in both the TV shows and the movie, get ready to be blown away with more great music. This movie is jam packed with so many happy, kid friendly, catchy tunes. Check them out because a few of them are already on YouTube, like the “Let’s Have a Battle (of the Bands)” sung by The Dazzlings. Get ready to have the urge to get up and dance, which might brings you to not only purchase the DVD when it releases but also their soundtrack.

Both kids and adults will enjoy this movie and you don’t have to be a bronies to enjoy it. It was very entertaining from the start of the movie to the end. After the movie was over, I wanted more; I couldn't get enough of it. It had a very good story line and had a few comic reliefs delivered by, of course, Pinkie Pie. You don’t need to watch the first movie to enjoy the second one. It did throw in some hints what the first movie was about.

Don’t forget to also check out the mini clips of My Little Pony Equestria Girls on You Tube because they are also very entertaining. They are not related to the movie but for viewers who wanted to see more of them. My daughter said she enjoyed this movie and wants more of the My Little Pony Equestria Girls toys to add to her collection.

Check it out this movie and I am hoping they will release another one soon since I love this movie so much. For the time being I will watch the TV shows and wait for the good news.

On the tail of a wildly successful run of MY LITTLE PONY EQUESTRIA GIRLS the movie in 2013, Screenvision has teamed up with Hasbro Studios and Shout! Factory to bring the full-length feature MY LITTLE PONY EQUESTRIA GIRLS: RAINBOW ROCKS to more than 400 cinemas across the U.S. and Canada beginning September 27. Information on listings and links to book tickets can be found at http://www.cineplex.com/Movie/my-little-pony-equestria-girls-rainbow-rocks.

Film Synopsis: MY LITTLE PONY EQUESTRIA GIRLS: RAINBOW ROCKS finds Canterlot High (CHS) hosting a musical showcase, and Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy are going to be performing with their new band, The Rainbooms. But when The Dazzlings, a new girl group, arrive at CHS and convince everyone to turn the friendly showcase into a Battle of the Bands, tensions mount between the competing musical acts. A now-reformed Sunset Shimmer realizes that the Dazzlings may not be ordinary girls and are after something far more sinister than just being named Best Band at Canterlot High. The Rainbooms call on Princess Twilight to restore harmony to their world to help them perform a musical counter-spell so that they can win a battle that now determines the fate of the entire school!
