Maybelline New York Colour Sensational lipstick and Elixir by Colour Sensational ~ #Review

If there is one makeup I have to have it is lip products. If I am just running a short errand I don’t want to spend 20 mins applying makeup. At the bare minimum, I have to have something for my lips. When I am applying products on my lips, one thing it has to have is hydration. My lips are always dry so my ideal lip product could hydrate them with a hint of colour and does not hurt the wallet. Maybelline has some great lip products that I think you will love: Maybelline New York Colour Sensational lipstick and Elixir by Colour Sensational.

Blissful Berry - Red Revival - Caviar Couture

Maybelline New York Colour Elixir comes in 20 lovely shades. I was fortune to try it in Caviar Couture (which is basically purple). This creamy lip lacquer has the perfect combination – it offers the hypnotic shine of a gloss, the care and smooth finish of a balm and intense colour of a lipstick. The first time I saw this packaging last year back in October during my backstage pass of Master Card Fashion Week. I thought it was cute. It looks like a tube of lip stick but really it a lip gloss wand. The wand I think is bigger than my usual lip glosses to help apply to my lips faster and smoother. I love the shade and last me a few hours if I was not drinking for eating. It is not sticky and the shade makes my lips stand out.

Maybelline New York Colour Sensational lipsticks made my lips look and feel gorgeous. It comes in 68 shades so there has to be one that will fit your mood or look. Dark berry shades usually works well on my skin tone. I love my lips to stand out so I like the shades to be bold. I tested the Red Revival and Blissful Berry and I love them both equally. The colours are perfect and I love wearing them all the time. It is soft and creamy when I apply it on. If I apply both the Colour Sensational and the Elixir, it even makes my lips scream “look at me”. The lipstick feels great on my lips and could stay for hours if I am not eating or drinking.
