The Wiggles: Apples & Bananas *NEW*– Join the Wiggles as they add their special Wiggles magic to favorite nursery rhymes and songs.
Octonauts: Deep Sea Mission *NEW* – On this exciting DVD, join the Octonauts as they explore the hidden depths of the Midnight Zone!
Cat in the Hat: Show & Tell Sure is Swell! – Summer is over, and fall is now here. Let’s go back to school; the best time of year! Our favorite part about going to class? Why show and tell, how great you should ask. But what should we show, oh what can it be? Tune in with the Cat to find out and see!
Animal Atlas: Animal ABC’s – Introduce preschoolers to the alphabet using the amazing animal kingdom!
Sid the Science Kid: The Ruler of Thumb – Sid learns all about the science of tools like rulers and magnifying glasses and how they help us. In fact, Sid even finds out how to measure a giant blue whale!
The Wiggles: Apples and Bananas ($9.99) make nursery rhymes and songs entertaining and makes learning fun. My favourite song “Apples and Bananas” is both enjoyed by me and my kids.
My youngest daughter loves watching the Octonauts. The Octonauts: Deep Sea Mission ($12.99) has been played so many times. My daughter loves it so much that she gets angry that I am putting in a new DVD. I guess she enjoys learning sea animals and watching the team saving the day. My oldest daughter was surprised the creatures that they meet are real animals.
The Cat in the Hat: Show and Tell Sure is Swell ($10.99)is always fun to watch. I love listening to The Cat talking in rhyme. The kids and I enjoy following Nicky, Sally, and the Cat on their crazy adventure. In each episode they meet animals and learn about them. There is alot of guessing and discovery and this DVD makes learning fun with plenty of silliness.
I really like Animal Atlas: Animal ABC’s ($6.99) because I enjoy watching my oldest daughter learning how to spell or recognize animal words. For examples, the narrator will say what animal is P-I-G and the will show a bunch of pictures and “select” which is the correct one. This is a great educational DVD for my youngest daughter too. She may learn new animal words that we have not discovered yet.
Sid the Science Kid: The Ruler of Thumb ($6.99) is everything about science. It is about a goofy kid learning about how things work or asking a bunch of questions and figuring out the answers. The DVD discusses the basic foundations of science by learning about data, surveys and guessing. Some parts in the DVD has clips of kids in a classroom participating in their science class which could give my daughter an idea what to expect when she attends school. In each episode they tell corny jokes that you have to laugh but I don’t think my daughter gets the jokes yet. This also comes with additional DVD with 9 bonus songs from Sid the Science Kid that is fun and enjoyable.
