Dippity-do’s Girls with Curls ~ #Review & #Giveaway

I know curls are sometimes a pain to work with, regardless if you have natural wavy, curly, or permed hair.  Half the battle is finding the perfect product to help you to manage your hair.  The most common issue I had when I had my hair permed or curl with an iron is the frizz.  My hair would go poof and my hair is everywhere and unmanageable.  Dippity-do have come to the rescue and launched Girls with Curls hair product line.

Dippity-do’s Girls with Curls

Dippity-do’s Girls with Curls ultra-moisturizing line is botanically enriched with natural Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Aloe and Vitamin E to calm and smooth frizz while nourishing and defining curls for springy, long-lasting bounce. It has that perfect summer pick-me-up!  Girls with Curls is targeted specifically towards the frugalista looking to get smooth, supple, voluptuous curls and waves without weighing down the hair.

Sulfate and paraben free Curl Shampoo is the first step to achieving silky, soft, hydrated curls that won't get dried out.  The Curl Conditioner will fortify the hair, enhancing shine and help seal split ends.  The Curl Shaping Gelee, in its iconic pink jar, is the perfect styling tool for separating locks and adding gloss for supreme shine.  The Leave-in Curl Defining Cream is ideal for thick to medium curly or wavy hair.  Forget about unwanted grease!  This weightless formula controls static, reduces breakage and can be used on both damp and dry hair.  Special UV filters prolong the length of your colour allowing you to extend that trip to the salon.  Lastly, the Curl Deep Conditioning Treatment is an ultra creamy, strengthening moisturizer that detangles beautifully.

I really like how the Leave-in Curl Defining Cream stopped my frizz.  This product really works.  I hate frizzy hair.  It also did not weight down my hair or make my hair greasy.  I also thought the gelee "gel" was pretty amazing.  It feels like any hair gel product but it is so light weight I barely felt like I was wearing any.  I love deep hair treatments.  After the abuse my hair goes through it needs a little TLC to make my hair healthier and shiner.  It has the same con-density as a conditioner so your hair is not weighted down.  The shampoo and conditioner was sent to a good friend of mine and I will update this post with her review.  She told me she was looking for some new hair products to try and was excited to try this brand.

Dippity-Do Girls with Curls are sold at select retail outlets across Canada.  Suggested retail price of $6.99 per product.
