Beanito: The Original Bean Chip ~ #Review & #Giveaway

The other day I was at my local Longo's picking up my lunch since that week I didn't have the chance to pick up some groceries for the week.  As I was lining up to cash out, when something piqued my interest.  I saw a bag I have never seen before - Beanitos?  Never heard of them or seen this before.  I made a mental note to try them since you guys know me...I love to try anything new.


It was only a few weeks ago I had the pleasure to try all the Beanitos' flavours and I can't believe how good they were.  I thought this product was innovative because this product provides consumers with a healthy tasty snack made of mostly beans. Can you believe it?  Beans!  (I am humming the bean song in my head).  We all know beans are full of health benefits including fiber and proteins but I am not sure how often anyone eats beans because I don't.  I can't remember the last time I had beans except the few occasions I had chillis a few months ago.  Other than using it for chili what can we do with beans.  I am not a big fan of canned beans so beans were not really part of my diet.

Maybe there are other bean chips out there but I have never noticed them before.  If there are, compare the ingredients on the package because this bean chip will triumph them all.  First, Beanitos is considered gluten-free and low-glycemic which I am amazed by.  I would say this might be the best snack food for those who are watching their sugar intake.  Still, take everything in moderation and try not to chug the whole bag or two - they are that good.  Got to save some to share.  I wish I told my youngest daughter to slow down because I blink and almost the whole bag was destroyed by her.  I only had a few and the next thing I know the bag was pretty much empty.  My oldest daughter had hesitated at first but after the first bite she also had trouble stopping.  When all the bags were finished, my family shed a few tears wishing there were still more.

Beanitos has the same texture as a nacho so I can combine it with hummus, salsa, or even a cheesy dip.  Beanitos has 6 delicious flavours and all were equally as good but I my favourite is the Better Cheddar.  If you don't believe me, check out the media how much they love Beanitos.  If you were looking for a great tasty and healthy snack, give Beanitos a try and prepare to be amazed that beans could actually taste so good.

    Im from Ontario. The online store locator kept sending me to Austin (Im in Toronto!) Ive never seen in them in stores. But you can buy them online at Amazon!
