Happy Halloween from Hallmark ~ #HallmarkPressPause #Review

Can you believe that summer break is long gone and the kiddies are back at school.  When school starts, things will go full speed ahead into Thanksgiving, Halloween and into Christmas.   I have always found the final four months of the year go faster than the rest...and before you know it I will be dressing up my daughter in her Halloween costume.  I think my oldest daughter will be dressing up as a princess she wore last year.  I will just have to think a creative ways to put on her makeup this year.  I will have to roll up my sleeves up and fumble at it.

Hallmark Halloween

I know there are a few people on my street would go all out in their decoration.  They will play spooky music or decorate their lawn as a grave yard.  A few houses were done so well that my daughter refused to walk to their door.  In the past, my decoration consist of a few pumpkins and decorated orange recycling bags.  I think this year will be different with some help with my trusty neighbour SpiderMan Hallmark.  They have some great products this year that I know you will love.  My daughters enjoyed watching me testing them that she wants me to display them out already.  If I did, my neighbours would think I am nuts.

I had a blast playing with the Fortune Telling Magic Mirror.  I felt like the evil step mother of Snow White, without the evil part of course.  My best fortune was how there will be chocolate in my future.  Yes, I like the sound of that.  Bring it on.

The Alive and Talking Pumpkin scared my daughter at first.  She was pretty frightened of it...but then again she is a scaredy cat.  After awhile she has gotten use to it.  The best part of this pumpkin is I don't need to carve it - no mess.  With a press of a button it lights up into a jack-o-lantern.

I am going to have the best pictures this Halloween when I use the Pics 'n' Props Halloween Party Activity Kit.  The props will make picture taking so much fun.  I could use this every year and be perfect for those who are hosting a Halloween Party.

Whoo's Watching Me? Singing Owl Techno Plush would also be great to have for this Halloween.  It starts singing this catchy tune and eyes would occasionally lights up.  My daughter enjoyed this one because she kept on pressing the button over and over again.

Witchiest of Witches Shadowcasters was a fun prop to play in the dark.  We waited until it was dark, we turned off the lights and watched the shadowcasters do their magic.  The girls watched the shadows eyes wide opened and kept on asking me to keep on turning it on.  This item was one I can't wait to set up this Halloween.

Drop 'n' Greet Spider (motion activated) was the funniest item of the century.  I would hang this little fellow
up on the ceiling using a hook and then watch it do its thing.  We were waving and jump around underneath to watch it drop down and make some corny jokes..."Can I give you a hand? How 'bout 8?"  Since we had it placed it over the computer chair we tried to play a trick on my husband but he saw it before it worked.  He said that if he was sitting there, and it actually surprised him, he would have had an accident in his pants.  He is terrified of spiders in case you were wondering.

There a lot more Halloween motifs at Hallmark than in this review.  Hallmark is your one stop shop for your Halloween necessary needs.  All these items makes me want to host a Halloween party...maybe I should....

Have you seen them in Hallmark?  Which one is your favourite?

  8. I like the Alive and Talking Pumpkin! I would use anything that would avoid a carving mess. Our kitchen table is glass and pumpkin carving never goes over well and seems to take 1/2 a bottle of Windex to clean up!

  9. Hallmark is a great firm and they bring some marvellous stuff out. I actually hate their Drop 'n' Greet Spider, like your husband I'm scared of them and yes I know they won't hurt me (well most won't) but I can't alter what I feel. Their cutest are the Singing Owl and the Alive and Talking Pumpkin.
