The best part of the day is when I am at home taking off my makeup. It is usually the first thing I do once I step in the door. My face feels grimy after wearing my makeup more than 10 hours a day. In the summer, it is actually worst.
Recently, Nivea has launched some new and improved skin care products. You may have noticed the collaboration between Nivea and Tessa Virtue in all those commercials you may have come across. Tessa is Nivea's first ever Canadian Brand Ambassador.
I love using Nivea MicellAIR Cleanser if I am in a rush or extremely busy that I don't have the chance to run to the bathroom to wash my face. I don't like to wash my face without removing my makeup first anyways. It does not feel like my face is clean unless I take the extra step to wipe it all off first. I know I don't have to wash my face after using Nivea MicellAIR Cleanser. A quick wipe makes my face feels refreshed until I have time to thoroughly wash my face. It feels like I am pouring plain water into a cotton pad. It is not greasy and does not leave any residue on my face. Nivea MicellAIR Cleanser comes in two formulas - normal and dry & sensitive skin. I can't tell the difference between the two cleansers. The ingredients are slightly different but both are just effective in removing the makeup off my face.
For the those days you are wearing heavy duty eye makeup or a strong bold lip colour, you might like to try Nivea eye makeup remover. It comes in a small bottle and it looks like liquid jelly with bubbles. It feels like the jelly turns into water after it makes contact with my skin. It is a great product removing my eye makeup and it does not burn my eyes!
Nivea MicellAIR Cleanser (SRP 400ml/$8.99). Nivea products are available at drugstores and mass retailers across Canada.
