Kellogg's Mini-Wheats #TryItHot Mission Aims to Warm Up Canada #Review #Kellogger

One of my New Years Resolutions is to try to have breakfast more often.  Many times I see myself skipping it because I am extremely busy at work and sadly that has happened more than once.

Kellogg's Mini-Wheats #TryItHot Mission Aims to Warm Up Canada #Review #Kellogger

Cereal is a staple in my kitchen and I had always found the best way to eat it is with warm milk.  There is something soothing to have a warm breakfast instead of a cold one especially during the winter.  It is fast and simple that my daughter can fix a bowl herself.  I pop the bowl with milk into the microwave for about 30 seconds and pile the cereal on top.  I love to make my Shredded Wheats a bit soggy like oatmeal.  I like both the original and the brown sugar.  I really am not picky.  Both taste amazing.

I noticed that once I have a good breakfast in the morning I am not really as hungry during lunch so I can avoid stuffing myself.  One box of Shredded Wheats can last me for a few weeks compare eating an expensive breakfast sandwich everyday.

A bowl of warm Shredded Wheats is not only for breakfast.  I can eat it anytime during the day, even as a midnight snack...like those times when I'll still be up cramming for an assignment or exams.  Yup, those where good times.  Who has time to cook and I managed to survive by eating cereal.

If you haven't try to warm up your milk in your cereal I would highly suggest it.  I bet your kids might even like it too.  Maybe even better than a cold bowl of cereal.  I bet you will enjoy it as much as I do.  Of course check out the Kellogg’s Mini-Wheats cereal in it’s limited edition seasonal packaging in-stores.  Keep Warm and happy eating.

In fact, a recent survey by Kellogg’s Mini-Wheats reveals that more than half of Canadians (55 per cent) agree they feel miserable on cold, dark and blustery winter mornings. And with many experts forecasting more wild weather to come, these dark, dreary and mundane mornings have the potential to zap all the joy out of our fun-loving nation.

That’s why Kellogg’s Mini-Wheats is launching the #TryItHot mission to brighten mornings. It’s simple: just add hot milk to your Kellogg’s Mini-Wheats cereal and let the welcoming warmth spark a little playfulness and childlike joy in your day. It doesn’t have to be big – dance at the breakfast table, compliment a stranger, make a snow angel – just a little something to perk up your morning.

  1. I've never tried to eat cereal with warm milk, it was always cold milk for me but as you say it might jolly well be a good idea on a cold winter morning.
