I bet many people don't know or have heard of who Gumby is.  It was a claymation TV show that was shown back in the 60s.  I don't remember much of it but I do remember watching a few clips in the 80s with my grandmother.  I think they were showing some re-runs.  Gumby looks like a green clay popsicle stick with arms and legs.  He has a orange pony side kick, Pokey, and the two of them would be off to seek an adventure.  I didn't know this but later in 1995, they made a Gumby Movie.

My daughters and I enjoyed watching the movie.  It is a great movie to introduce them to Gumby.  Gumby discovered that his neighbours are having difficulties paying off their loans so he hosted a concert benefit fundraiser to help his neighbours.  Every time he performs with his clayboys band, his dog, Lowbelly, does the most strangest thing and then some thugs discovers what the dog can do and steals him.  The thugs,the Blockheads, clone the dog with a robot hoping no one will notice that he is missing.  Later, the Blockheads also kidnaps Gumby and his clayboys band and started to clone them too!  Well, you have to watch the movie to find out what happens next.
