Getting Ready for Back to School with Sport Chek ~ #Review #BTS

When I was younger, one of the highlights of going back to school was that I always got a new pair of shoes.  They were usually a name brand and would last throughout the whole year.  Sport Chek has a huge selection of kids must have running shoes.

As a runner, I have to have good quality footwear.  I want a pair of running shoes that can last for 500km to 800km so roughly 4 to 6 months.  Running shoes are not the same as training shoes.  Running shoes are engineered for heel-to-toe movement and Training shoes are for activities you would do at the gym like weights training, aerobics, and indoor racquetball.  Training shoes are meant for side to side movement.  I really like my Under Armour training shoes.  They have no laces so you have to force your foot in.  Once they are in, they wont fall off.  They fit perfectly.  They are very lightweight so you can easily lift your foot when you do your step classes without feeling tired very quickly.

When I am running, I like to wear an outfit that is thin and light.  After 15 mins of running I get to heat up and I want to stay cool so I can last throughout my whole run.  The Adidas Winner tank top is thin and light.  It is also a very long tank top that it cover my behind.  If you like to run with very short running shorts then you will like O'Neills Jiggy Shorts.  They are also thin and light weight.  They are not speedos but a slip on shorts with extra leg room.

When you leave the gym you many want to wear something heavier like an Under Amour hoodie.  I wear hoodies all the time and I enjoy wearing my Under Amour hoodie.  I really like the ones with the zipper in the front because I find them easy to take off and put on.  This Under Amour hoodie is so comfortable.  It would keep me warm during cool summer mornings and evenings.  I could also wear this early in the fall before I have to dig out my winter jacket.  I could image a student could sit comfortable wearing it during class.

I really like my Adidas light weight gym bag from Sport Chek.  I love there is are two side zipper pockets where I could put my gym shoes in or anything I want.  I don't want to stick my shoes with my clothes.  Sport Chek also have these miniature size gym bag that you can put anything in it like soap, deodorant, makeup, and towels.

Sport Chek carries a wide range of Fitbits.  I am loving my new Fitbit Flex 2.  I was surprised at how many steps I took in an average day.  I love how my Fitbit is waterproof so I can wear it when I am in the shower.  I am also impress that it could track how long I sleep.
