The Body Shop Drops of Youth and Drops of Light Liquid Peel ~ #Review

I am so glad that The Body Shop has finally launched their own version of the liquid peel.  I have had used Asian brands liquid peel for awhile but sometimes they are either hard to find or too expensive.  I believe liquid peels are so much better then scrubs.  The problem with the scrub is that I have no idea if it is working and I have to be careful not to rub it too hard.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth and Drops of Light Liquid Peel ~ #Review

Liquid peels are super easy to use.  All I have to do is pump out some gels and rub it all over my face.  The gel is clear with a light texture.  There is no micro bead or "sand", only the jelly solution.  You rub it all over your face and then keep on rubbing and rubbing.  After about 20 seconds of rubbing the gel, dead skin will form into clumps.  It is like magic...okay...chemistry.  It is pretty amazing.  Then all you have to do is wash it away with water.  Immediately after one use you can feel how soft and smooth your face feels.  If you flake around the nose like I do, a few sessions with this peel would reduce it without you scrubbing and buffing and making your nose hurt.  I have tried the Drops of Youth and Drops of Light which both works just the same.

Drops of Youth Liquid Peel exfoliates and gently peels off impurities from your skin, lifting dead skin cells and residuals. This revolutionary gel-to-peel leaves skin clean and purified from the day’s pollutants. Continued use will leave a fresh, smoother and more luminous youthful-looking skin.

  3. I've never used an exfoliant but I must say that this does appeal to me. I love that it's a liquid and not at all harsh on the skin. :-)
