Vichy Winter Survival Kit ~ #VichyWorksForMe #Review #Giveaway

I can't wait for Spring.  Winter weather causes havoc to my skin.  It is always dry and dehydrated, it is very annoying.  There are a few Vichy products that I think you will like to help you to survive the Winter.

The one area I like to focus on hydrating is the eye area.  The skin surrounding the eyes are the weakest part of your face that is prone to get wrinkles and aging.  The more hydrated the eye area keeps your skin more elastic so it is less likely wrinkles will develop.  Aqualia Thermal Awakening Eye Balm comes in a pump and it is more like a gel cream.  It has a light texture and it is also great for sensitive eyes.  Half a pump is more than enough for both my eyes.  Remember to use your ring finger to apply.  You don't want to apply too much pressure.  I like to use this in the evenings.  It reminds me of a eye sleeping masking so it feels tacky after applying it.

Aqualia Thermal Dynamic Hydration Power Serum is one of my personal favourites.  I enjoy using it for a few years and it works really well keeping me hydrated all year round.   It is extremely light weight and it quickly absorbs onto my skin. I love using this during the day with or without my makeup. It keeps my face nicely hydrated and lasts me all day long. I love the texture and the cute little bottle it comes in.

Did you know 1 in 5 Canadian women have very sensitive skin?  I have two coworkers that I often get tips on what to do for my youngest daughter's sensitive skin.  I like to use products that are ideal for sensitive skin even though my skin is not sensitive.  It is because it does not contain harmful ingredients that I don't like to apply on my skin like alcohol and paraben.

My skin gets really irritated when it is dry.  I noticed immediate relief when I applied Aqualia Thermal ExtraSensitive Ultra Calming Care on my skin.  It comes in a pump so the air does not contaminate it.  It comes out thicker than I expected.  I love using this as a night cream.  It keeps me hydrated all night long.

At the office, it is always dry so my skin is constantly dehydrated.  I wear makeup so I hate to mess it up by applying cream on my face. When my skin is really dry, my eyes starts to squint and it is annoying when I am trying to work. So the best solution is I spray my face with Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water.  It creates a light mist that would help give me a quick hydration boost.  Did you know Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water can also act as a great toner?  You can spray and then wipe off any extras with a cotton pad.
