There was so much to see at Ripley's Aquarium of Canada. First you will enter into the Canadian Waters exhibit and see what our Canadian waters hold. My favourite is the Fleshy Sea pen. They do look like orange feather pens we used to use back in the 18th century. After looking at kelp and corals exhibit we enter into the Dangerous Lagoon. Here you step onto the moving floor and you will enter into a tunnel that you will be surrounded by glass that holds tons of fishes and sharks. It is amazing to see how many sharks are in the lagoon.
At the end you will visit a kids area where they play around in the submarine and pet the horseshoe crab. Off to the side there is a tub of cleaner shrimp where people stick their hands in and they will come and would remove dead skin from your hands. After you go through the Ray Bay and see the different Sting Rays you will enter into one of my favorite exhibit - The Planet Jellies. I could stare at them all day. It is very hypnotic and relaxing.
You and your family will have a fantastic time at Ripley's Aquarium of Canada. I have a co-worker who loves photography and I kept on bugging him to visit the Aquarium. It is the perfect opportunity to take some beautiful pictures. Maybe next time when I visit my kids would be able to join me. It would be a great family trip any time of the year.
