Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir ~ #Review #Giveaway

Meet the newest superheroes in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.  It is a French CGI that was first released in South Korea (Sept 2015), and then France (Oct 2015) , and then the United States (Dec 2015).  It was so successful that it was announced it has signed up for second and third seasons. YEAH!

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir

It all takes place in Paris.  We meet two high school students, Marinette (Ladybug) and Adrien (Cat Noir) battling evil released from Hawk Moth.  My daughters have seen some clips of Ladybug on YouTube and she was jumping for joy to own a copy of it, even though it only contains 6 episodes.

The first season has 26 episodes and I can't wait to watch the rest of it when it releases more on DVD.  It is interesting that I won't get to see the episode how Marinette becomes Ladybug and Adrien is Cat Noir until near the end of Season 1.  You won't believe how much I enjoyed watching Ladybug and Cat Noir team up and fight the battle of evil.  Maybe it also because it has a love triangle that Marinette has a crush on Adrien and Adrien has a crush on Ladybug.  Marienette does not know that Adrien is actually Cat Noir and Adrien does not know Marienette is Ladybug.  It is like watching how Lois Lane loves Superman and does not realize he is also Clark Kent.  Hopefully they find out in season 2 or 3.

I am craving for more episodes so in the meantime this DVD has been replayed for a number of weeks.  I can't for some more super hero action. Perfect for a superhero superfun weekend activity for the kids, please find the printable coloring sheets below and available for download HERE.

Miraculous is now available in stores at Target, Walmart, Best Buy and online.

Los Angeles, California – Get ready to bug out with two new super heroes! The exciting new 3D CGI animated TV series Miraculous™: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is coming to DVD on May 3, 2016, from Shout! Kids, in collaboration with ZAG. The release features seven incredible episodes, bonus features, and a French language track – très bon! Wildly successful on Nickelodeon, its legions of fans worldwide know that Miraculous™: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is superhero super fun.

Marinette and Adrien, two seemingly normal kids live what appears to be an ordinary teen life in Paris with daily encounters that create amusing circumstances in school, with friends, family, and even with strangers. But when the evil Hawk Moth threatens their beloved city of Paris, they transform into the superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir using super powers gained with the help of their magical friends. Hawk Moth is using his evil energy to transform normal people into super villains, so our two heroes need to use all their skills to defeat him.

Becoming Ladybug is a complicated process. First, Marinette needs a "Kwami," which is a tiny magical assistant (called Tikki). She also needs a "Miraculous," which is a magical accessory (her special pair of earrings). Tikki uses the Miraculous to transform Marinette, but her Ladybug super powers only work for a limited time!

It is a good thing that she gets a little help from her superhero partner, Cat Noir even though she insists she doesn't need him. If only she knew Cat Noir's true identity – her school crush, Adrien! It will take a lot – friendship, teamwork and skill – to outwit Hawk Moth. Will Ladybug and Cat Noir be able to balance their double lives and keep Paris safe? Will they ever find out each other's true identity? Until then – there is a whole city of baddies to defeat… SPOTS ON, CLAWS OUT!

Miraculous™: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir episodes include:

“The Bubbler,” “Mr. Pigeon,” “Stormy Weather,” “Timebreaker,” “Copycat,” “The Pharoah,” and “Lady Wifi”!

Bonus Features:
Episode Animatics
Sing-Along
Cast and Crew Interviews
