Montagne Jeunesse is now 7th Heaven ~ #7thheaven #Review #Giveaway

I am never a big fan of my skin.  Over the years it needed a little extra TLC.  I am willing to do almost anything (except needles) to try to keep it still young and healthy.  I am always happy to hear how someone is surprised I am younger than I look.  One of the things I enjoy doing is putting on a face mask a few times a week.  One of my co-workers started my love of face masks.  Face masks are one of the great ways for your skin to soak up the nutrients for a longer period.  One brand of the face mask you might hear me mentioning many times is Montagne Jeunesse.

Well, just to let you know I have no idea how to pronouce their name, I only know them as MJ.  That is what the brand noticed where many people recognize the name but have no idea how to say it or what it means.

Well, I discovered that Montagne Jeunesse means "Mountain Youth".  In 2015, on their 30th anniversary, they decided to re-name themselves as 7th Heaven.  Over the years I noticed their selection has ballooned.  There are so many to choose from for all different skin types.

This Creamy Coconut is to provide hydration boost - and boy don't I need one during the Winter.  This is a mud masque so make sure you protect your hair and clothes.  It is a white mud masque so I would look like a geisha if I apply red lipstick afterwards.  One pack is more than enough.  It smells amazing and there is even a warning to not to eat the masque because it smells divine. My face does feel hydrated after using the masque but I still apply moisturizer for added hydration.

One of my favourite types of facial masks I enjoy using are peel off masks.  Those masks peels away those yucky stuff sitting on my face.  I bet you would like the Manuka Honey.  It felt like I was putting real honey on my face. It smells and feels like honey. I was almost temped to taste it too. The honey comes from the New Zealand honey bee. I apply a thick layer of the mask and there is more than enough to cover my face. It takes about 20 mins to dry before I can peel it off. It is a bit messy but I love how it feels afterwards.

I have tried the Black Seaweed mask.  One pack was more than enough.  There is some left over that I think I could squeeze out enough to do my nose area.  The most problematic area on my face.  It is very runny when I apply it on my face.  It took about a good 20 mins for it to fully dry.  It smells like seaweed just in case you wanted to know.  It was very easy to peel off.  It was not painful when I was pulling it off.  It was not like I was pulling a band-aid.  Once I pulled it off, I saw the impurities it stuck on the mask. Yuck!  I could use this mask everyday.

You may still see the old Montagne Jeunesse logos in stores.  Canada is still waiting for the new packages with the new 7th Heaven logo to hit the shelves.

They are so affordable, they are 100% natural and paraben-free.
