On January 22nd, 2016, I was invited to the Interior Design Show in Toronto to see the launch of the new Excel gum. Excel and Jillian Harris have teamed up, letting Canadians know about keeping it simple, which is the inspiration behind the new Naturally Sweetened gum. Jillian Harris is a interior decorator and has appeared in a tv series called Love it or List it Vancouver (Love it or List it Too). You also might remember her from The Bachelor (Season 13) and The Bachellorette (Season 5).
During Jillian's private meet and greet sessions, she talks about how to make things simple and easy. She gave a few simple tips of adding texture in your home decor and layering your outfit. She likes to schedule everything so she not running like a chicken without it's head. During her Q&A, session her personal favourite Interior decorator is Sarah Richardson because her designs are timeless. I totally agree with her. Excel and Jillian will also be creating a range of content, tips and ideas to help Canadians find more pleasure by simplifying the choices they make every day.
I had a flash back when I saw the new Excel gum, it reminds me of the Wrigley's Doublemint gum ads. They are the old flat rectangle gum in foil wraps. I can't remember what Doublemint gum tastes like but it does have a similar texture. It tastes a bit different than your usual Excel gum. My usual Excel gum contains a whole bunch of ingredients including aspertaine. The new Naturally Sweetened gum only has 4 ingredients and there no aspertaine. Excel wanted to give Canadians a simpler choice but eliminating all the extras and sticking to the basics.
