L’Occitane Pivoine Sublime and Pivoine Flora ~ #Review

I always get excited when I receive something from L’Occitane. They carry one of my favourite hand creams, the 20% shea butter hand cream. I also love their fragrances. The other day I was wearing one called the Cerisier Rouge, Eau Intense and someone actually commented to me how much they like the scent. I bet she would also like the Pivoine Flora scent if I wore it when I see her.


Pivoine Flora, created in 2010 by L'Occitane, perfumer in Provence, captures a frangrace in full bloom in a new pink, rounded bottle, engraved with petals, in the gardens of Monsieur Riviere.

 The Collection:
Eau De Toilette (75ml, $50)
Beauty Milk (250ml, $32)
Shower Gel (250ml, $22)
Bi-phase Bath Oil (250ml, $36)
Hand Cream (30ml. $12)
Petal Soap (75g, $8)

I love the perfume bottle it came in. It looks like an apple or a big cherry so it makes it so easy to hold the bottle. I love when fragrance’s bottles are shaped different than your typical bottle. The fragrance is a light floral scent that I could see myself wearing it often. I sprayed it in my arms and I could barely smell the scent so I think it could be an ideal perfume to wear at the office.

L'Occitane has created Pivoine Subline an innovative line of perfecting skincare products for all complexions.  A Peony extract discovered by L'Occitane's Laboratories is the patented active ingredients at the heart of this new skincare line:

 The Collection:
Perfecting Cream (50ml, $46)
Skin Perfector (30ml, $54)
CC Cream - Skin Tone Perfecting Cream, avail in 2 shades - light and medium (30ml, $40)
Perfecting Mist (100ml, $25)
Tinted Lip Balm with 25 spf (4g, $20)

 The new Pivoine Subline is to help hydrate the skin, correct uneven skin texture, act on pores and fine lines, and enhance the complexion.

In case you didn’t know, I am addicted to lip balms. The Pivoine Sublime tinted lip balms is a must have for this Spring and Summer. It comes in 4 shades: transparent, rose, beige, plum, and red.  The lip balm has a great floral scent and I think there is even a hint of cherries. It hydrates my lips instantly once I applied it. It said it hydrates for 8 hours but it is hard to tell when lip balms do last on my lips for very long when I am eating or drinking. It contains 25 SPF to help us protect our lips from UVA/B. This is perfect since I always forget to apply sunscreen on my lips.  It leaves a pretty rosy colour on my lips.

I can’t wait to try the other Pivoine Sublime and Pivoine Flora products and I bet they will be a great Mother’s Day gift ideas.

    Such a pretty container and the packaging is so pretty as well. With the Cancer awareness in October the pink colours remind me of it..... as I am a survivor myself. These would look so lovely on my dresser. :) They sound so soft and fresh and I too like lip balm... awesome review!

    I love lipbalms too, especially ones that have a tint. I don't wear lipstick ever! I don't think that I have applied sunblock to my lips so it's a good thing that lipgloss and balms now contain it. I love that this perfume and lipbalm are in pretty packaging.     Love the packaging but if you can hardly smell it when you put it on, they do usually become more subtle after a short time. Could you still smell this after an hour?
