I love food and I love to try products that just hit the shelves. The best type of food is that it is all most ready to eat. All I have to do is pop it into the microwave to heat it up.
Fresh Attitude Stir Fry Bowl is its First of its kind in the refrigerated produce section of major grocery chains in Ontario and Quebec, these Stir Frys are the only ready-to-heat individual meals featuring fresh vegetables, locally grown in season. Freshness, texture and taste in these new homemade replacements just cannot be compared to their closest competitors found in the frozen food section. Pushing back the limits of simplicity and easy cooking, this meal solution allows you to prepare the dish and to enjoy it in the same microwaveable bowl, specifically engineered for this product. The kits are processed all year round at Veg Pro International’s facility located in Sherrington, Canada. These exciting combinations are made of crunchy vegetables and brassicas, crispy toppings and exclusive gourmet sauces. Available in four scrumptious flavours: General Tao, Sweet & Sour, Teriyaki and Thai.
- Each bowl provides 4 servings of vegetables;
- Low in fat meal solution with an average of 10 g of proteins;
- Exclusive gourmet sauces without additives and food preservatives;
- Excellent source of vitamin A and C
If you like it spicy, you will like the General Tao. If you like it sweet, you will like the Sweet & Sour. At first I didn't think there was enough sauce but it was the perfect amount that you need for the whole bowl. I inhaled the bowls and I could easily eat two or three bowls at a time because it is that good. Each bowl is very healthy because there is nothing fried and each bowl is less than 400 calories.
These are perfect for days when you don't have time to cook. These bowls are a must have for busy moms, people who are extremely busy, who hate to cook, or are sick and tired of take out. These are healthier than fast food and for days that you are sick and tired of the same old frozen dinners. I could even take it on the go. I could heat it at the house and reseal it with the lid.
Would I purchase them again? Definitely. These bowls saved me from my hunger pains all last week. I inhaled each bowl and wished there was more in the bowl because it was that good and I was that hungry. I believe it was the best lunch I had all week. Usually I stayed away from spicy food but I couldn't resist at least trying the General Tao. I am a wuss so I did find it too hot but it was still good so I ended up gobbling it all up in record time.
The Fresh Attitude Stir Fry Bowls retail for $5.99 each and are available at stores across Canada including Sobeys, Foodland, Urban, IGA, Metro and Super C.

They sound delicious as well as healthy. I definitely want to try it.
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! I can't eat broccoli and find so many of these pre-made or frozen dinners are (by-rote) made with broccoli. I clicked through and found that only the Terriyaki FASFB has the evil green tree of gastrointestinal distress. I'm in,sounds delish. I will be searching this out in Sask, hopefully I will find them at Sobeys.

ReplyDeleteThese sound yummy but I'm not sure that we have them in Nova Scotia. Will definitely have to look for them now. I would steer clear of the General Tao as I don't like spicy either. I'm hoping that it is an option here. Thanks for the great review. (Margaret MacKenzie)
