Kaia Bamboo Tapioca Beads Daily Cleansing Powder ~ #Review #Giveaway

New Year is always the time to make goals and sometimes even changes.  My goals are pretty much the same - spend more time with family, eat more healthy, lose weight, read more, and even save more - same old, same old.  One of my goals this year is something very simple like exfoliate more often.  I have been told I should exfoliate my skin at least 3X a week.  I tend to forget or procrastinate and I end up forgetting and might exfoliate once every two/three weeks. This month I want to exfoliate my skin with the use of Kaia Bamboo Tapioca Beads Daily Cleansing Powder.

I have always believe that Japanese creates the best skin care.  This derived from ancient Japanese skincare routines, cleansing powers are the new skincare phenomenon.  This is the first DIY kit on the market allows the consumer versatility in customizing their cleanser, including the consistency, by adding droplets of different liquids.  The user can intensify or lessen the degree of exfoliation with each cleanse, which is great for those sensitive skin days.

Made in small batches and custom-crafted, every kit is hand assembled.  This 3 in one cleanser + exfoliate + mask, can be activated with water or 10 other liquid including moringa oil which comes with the kit.  When mixed with the moringa oil it becomes an amazing make-up remover.

Bamboo Tapioca Beads Daily Cleansing Powder contains micronized exfoliated spheres derived from pulverized tapioca and chickpeas to absorb oils, white clay to unclog pores, and coconut amino acids for cleansing.  Its gentle enough for daily exfoliation without tearing up enlarged pores.

The kit ($38) comes with Bamboo Tapioca Beads Daily Cleansing Powder (1.5 oz/43g) and moringa oil (0.125fl oz/3.6ml), are available at selected spas and boutiques accorss Canada and U.S. For more information or locations, visit http://kaianaturals.com/store-locator-3/.  It also comes with a small wooden spoon that I am guessing is 1/4 tsp that is used to measure the powdered face cleanser. I could use it to mix with water, green tea, or whatever I desired to help me to cleanse my face.

I used a few drops of water and mix it into a "paste" which looks more like milky water.  I gently rub it on my face and make sure to avoid the eyes area.  It feels like I am rubbing sea salt cleanser on my face.  Rub as gentle as possible.  It washes off easily and leaves my skin clean and soft.  When I was just using water, there was no scent nor leave any yucky residues.

The best part is that it is 100% natural. It contains 9 ingredients which is most likely 1/3 what other cleanser has and they are mostly additives and preservatives.  When it is in a powder format, it has a longer shelve life and when mixing the cleanser just before using it, the cleanser works its most effectively.   Next, I would love to try mixing with green tea.  It is like you are cleaning inside of your body and out.  I love the fact that this kit can be "adjusted" to your needs.  It is a great cleanser even though it comes in a dial and lock sifter to prevent spillage, I think it would be so cool if the dial pre-measures for you but that contraption might be too complicated or too expensive.
