Kiss InstaWave ~ #Review

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone and now it is time to get ready for New Years. I can't remember when the last time I have gotten ready going out for a New Years Eve party. I believe it is always the time to go all out and play up your looks. I have always loved to have wavy hair. I have Asian super flat, thick, heavy, straight long hair. I use curlers and flat irons all the time. This time I was testing Kiss InstaWave.

Kiss InstaWave is a fully automatic curler that instantly creates beautiful, long-lasting curls. It has a dial to curls to the left of the right. It has 2 heat settings and the Max temperature is 420F and an auto shutoff after 90 minutes. Ceramic Ionic Techonology - Infusion of ceramic particles enhance durability while maintaining ionic effects for healthy, shiny styling results. Gentle infrared heat and negative ions reduces fizz and damage.

Before I started, I made sure I brushed my hair to get all the tangles out so it does not get caught in the curler. The curler heats up very quickly to the maximum setting - make sure to be careful not to burn yourself. I had to watch a few youtube videos to see how it works. When you are curling on the left or right make sure the curler is spinning in the correct direction or it won’t work.

I worked a small section at a time since the cylinder is very short for my long hair. I would curl it half way, wait for a few seconds and then continue down my hair. It took forever, but I did like the end results. The curler made some nice "cork screws" like Shirley Temple's hair but when I run my fingers through my hair, it creates some nice waves. Just the way I like it. I didn’t use any hair spray and surprisingly it last me most of the day. This curler works amazing after I got the hang of it.

Available at Walmart since September 2014, SRP $69.96

  3. looks like this gives a really nice result, even if it takes a long time it looks like it's worth it. I always wanted thick, straight, jet black hair. Thick is the only bit that worked out, it was a mousy dark blonde (I called it brown!) now it's grey underneath the dye job :-)

  4. Great review, and the curls looked great! I have straight thick hair and curls never last long in my hair, wonder how that would do.

  7. It looks really nice but if it takes a long time to do I would only do it for special occasions.

  8. I have to be very careful with my delicate hair, otherwise it will burn easily with any styling tool. Yours however looks awesome!

  13. Awesome! Love this look! I have naturally wavy hair so for me I like having straight hair which is hard to do when my hair is so thick!
