I can’t believe my little girl is back at school. Where did the summer go and September just flew by? We are back to our regular morning routine so my daughter has been dining on cereal almost every morning. She has her favourite mug/bowl that she uses every day because it is metal and pink. I hate to send her hungry before I drop her off to the babysitter’s so I make sure she at least eats something in the morning. Her morning snack at school is not until 10am so it is a long time before she could eat in the morning.
So, we all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day. (Yes, that had been drilled to my head for years). To save us some time, she will most likely have a nice bowl of cereal to tie her over. I always have my cereal at the office. I have a collection of them sitting at my desk. We love to try out new cereals because having the same ones every morning can be boring. So I am very excited to try the NEW! Rice Krispies: multi-grain shapes.
Huh? What? You might be thinking. We all know Rice Krispies is cereals that are shaped like rice that sing “Snap, Crackle, and Pop” when we pour our milk in. There is even a jingle! The idea for this cereal is to boost creative young minds, both the inside and the outside. The kids would discover little pieces of shapes in their cereal and they could imagine little stories with them or imagine new ones they wish to see.
In order for the kiddies to be creative, the cereal helps boost their energy to get their motors running to last until lunch time.
I think this cereal tastes great. It is light and crunchy. There are all sorts of shapes that could be anything from stars, fishes, people, etc... My youngest daughter likes to pop them in her mouth dry as a snack.
It has a great source of fibre, with no artificial flavours or colours, and made with whole grains. I bet that is what every parent likes to know. I believe I could use this cereal instead of corn flakes when I make my homemade burgers or the coating of homemade chicken fingers. This cereal does not only sparks the creativity for this kids but also the parents. Check these cereal out in stores near you.
All across Canada, moms and dads know that the morning rush begins long before they walk out the front door. Every morning when the alarm goes off, busy parents get the kids out of bed, make sure they are dressed, that their socks match, that they are fed a wholesome breakfast and sent off to school with a kiss and healthy snacks for the day ahead.
Parents really do it all – and even in the most hectic and busy times, they care about feeding their families what their growing bodies need. Kellogg Canada is making this easier than ever with the introduction of new Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Multi-Grain Shapes cereal, which

ReplyDeleteI am in BC, we do not eat a ton of cereal -though we love oatmeal in the winter (does that count?) and we love rice krispie squares (does that count?). I personally like it the most in our family and eat it a couple times a week. My oldest will eat it as a snack mostly and my youngest only eats the squares- never in a bowl.
