When I think of roses, I would always remember the time I was working at the Day Care and I was with the kids. It was near at the end of the day and my boss told me she needed help in her office. I thought she had some computer issues since I was the unofficial IT person at the Centre. So when I got there, there was this huge beautiful bouquet of roses for me. They were long stemmed dark red roses and so pretty I had a hard time carrying them. It was huge! I love to visit flower shops to check out the displays and I love to be surrounded by roses.
Roses are usually the most popular flowers to give away and to receive. Roses are so popular that L’Occitane created the Rose 4 Reines range, ten years ago, which is now Roses et Reines which are enhanced with a unique rose extract from Haute-Provence, obtained by enfleurage.
The Fragrance opens with the citrus freshness of bergamot and black currants leaves. Intense heat notes reveal the floral, silky encounter of four varieties of roses (from Bulgaria, Turkey, Grasse and Morocco) and the fruity notes of the precious rose extract, obtained by enfleurage, coloured by raspberry and black berry. This harmony is prolonged by a woody based of white cedar, which mingles with the softness of heliotrope and musk.
This elegant floral scent is dressed for the occasion in the pink and gold curves of a new 75ml bottle, etched with transparent lines. Modern, understated and absolutely feminine, it is held, like a precious gem, in a box adorned with embossed flowers.
The Queen of flowers are roses. I know very little about them except that they are hard to grow and used to symbolize feelings. Like red roses mean love, yellow is friendship, and pink is gratitude. I had the pleasure to try the Eau De Toilette, Hand & Nail Cream, and Limited Edition Gentle Bath Salt from the Rose 4 Reines product line. The scent is like a bouquet of roses I received many years ago. I love every L’Occitane Hand Cream they have ever created. The cream always hydrates my hands and I love to keep one in my purse. I love how it leaves a nice light scent of roses. I always look forward adding salt to my bath. It relaxes my muscles after a hard work out or a stressful long day. The Limited Edition Gentle Bath Salt adds a little extra for a more enjoyable bath. I love putting a spray of Rose 4 Reines behind the ears to freshen myself up to start my day.
If you love the scent of roses be sure to check Rose 4 Reines in stores or online, available in September 2014.
