Kiehl's Skin Rescuer Stress-Minimizing Daily Hydrator ~ #Review

You can say I am a very stressful person with too many things I juggle each day.  It is not easy trying to do everything (work, raising kids, and other obligations) on my own.  On top of it all, I live in a sandwich generation where I have duties to both my mom and to my kids.  Like many of you, I have alot on my plate and most of the time it is not easy to get the help you need.  Even stress is apart of my life I cannot get rid of it easily.  I remember I was at my doctor's and complained about my constant back pain, he told me to quit my job.  What a laugh.  "Stress" is known to be my middle name.

I have learned some techniques over the years to try to reduce my stress like going for a run, attend yoga classes, read a good book, or watch a marathon of anime shows - anything to keep my mind off the problems and duties temporary.  Stress may be apart of me, I don't want myself look like I'm a walking dead.  It think I have found the perfection solution to my tired out skin problem.

Kiehl's Skin Rescuer Stress-Minimizing Daily Hydrator proclaims their "clinical tests showed improvement at one week, but the clinical improvement shown at four weeks demonstrated the Skin Rescuer formula effectively minimized the appearance of dehydration, redness, blotchiness and skin fatigue."  Many women who tested this product in 4 weeks believes their skin felt soothed, comforted, revitalized/replenished, and help skin feel less susceptible to stress.

This cream is thicker than I use during the day so I have been using it only as a night cream.  It instantly hydrates my face once I put it on.  It absorbs quickly and it barely has a scent but once you rub it into your skin the scent disappears.  It feels like it "plumped" up my skin making it feel more awake then the usual tired and sickly looking.  Its is hard to tell if it reduced my redness on my face.  Its possible I might see it after a few more weeks using the product.

Kiehl's Skin Rescuer Stress-Minimizing Daily Hydrator ($42, 75ml) are available at all Kiehl store locations and online.

  1. Nice, well please let me know in a few weeks how the produce is, cause I would like to see how well you think it works for that price.

  2. Sounds like a heavenly product! Anything that helps you feel better is a good thing in my books! It is a wee bit pricey, but if it works, its worth it!

    Thanks for the review!

  3. Can you post an update in a few weeks? I love Kiehls, but I don't want to shell out so much money for something that might not make a huge difference.

  4. I agree with the other posts that it does seem somewhat pricy but if it lives up to the "Skin Rescuer" and "Signs of Stress-Minimizing" Daily Hydrator claims that you may have a buyer here. I hear a follow-up!
