The Bottom Line
Product received - 3/5
The surprise - 4/5 - never received my shipping notification
Favourite product received -  Mereadesso: Lip Treats (always wanted to try it)

Overall reaction - *Sigh* They gave us a pamphlet with "Spring Trends", we don't receive everything mentioned on it.  I wish they did because it was just a big tease.  Seriously, I was pretty disappointed when I received Vichy samples since I know you can get those for free at Shoppers or Rexall if you just ask.  It's not the product, I love Vichy, but paying for the sample is disappointing.  *Double Sigh* The blending sponge reminds me of Sonia Kashuk Sponge sold only in Target (US).  Too bad it was not the Beauty Blender.  At least there was a lip balm (Mereadesso), which I love - maybe it is my addiction talking.  Basing on the box on Mereadesso, Blue Lagoon, and Lancome it is not a bad box.  Two more boxes to go...do I continue with my subscription or cancel...

Did you like your box?

  1. How does that sponge compare to other ones you've tried? I still use the old wedge latex types.

    1. I have the Beauty Blender - the creme de la creme of sponges, so I'm thinking of giving this to my SIL.

  2. Sounds like the Mereadesso: Lip Treats are lovely; too bad that some of your other samples didn't really add up. I still can't commit to ordering any kind of makeup box subscription.

    Thanks

  3. I didn't know you could get Vichy samples at Shoppers. It is a bit of a let down that they put those in the box, then!

    1. Seriously, they always have samples at the bottom drawer of the shelves. I have seen them. Not all the products but enough. Also, if you are lucky, there are "Vichy" events at Shoppers or Rexall. They have someone from Vichy to give you advice and give ton of freebies (with purchases).
