The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey ~ PR and Giveaway

The Hobbit brings back memories of high school Grade 9 English class where I remember trying to finish reading the book for my class.  I also remember they made an old cartoon version of The Hobbit but I doubt it is anything like The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey that was released on March 19th, 2013.



I have a feeling that most people have seen the epic trilogy of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.  I believe I have heard before that J.R.R. Tolkien is the grandfather of the fantasy genre and brought us to a world of magic and heroes.

This "epic adventure follows the Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an amazing quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug.  Approach out of the blue by the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo finds himself joining a company of thirteen dwares led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakenshield.  Their journey will take them into the Wild; through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Sorcerers.

    Congratulations! You seem to be equal parts Hobbit and Human - and would be just as comfortable in The Shire as you would in your own living room! You appreciate being laid back, but you need a sense of adventure to make you feel alive. And chances are, you enjoy a good meal a bit more than most :)
