The first ProEven line was launched in February 2012 to respond to the growing demands to help create "flawless, radiant, and even skin tone."
The ProEven: Daily Dark Spot Corrector, 30ml ($44.00), was the first product to be introduced and became one of the most popular moisturizers sold in the drugstore. It "features a unique patented formula that corrects all types of dark spots and uneven skin tones." It was also one of Chatelaine Beauty 100 Winner in 2012.
Next came the ProEven: BB cream, 40ml ($35.00), in September 2012 to answer a new demand of the BB cream market. This BB cream is "formulated for uneven skin tones. It offers instant neutralization of redness, blotchiness, and unevenness." Unlike other BB creams, this has 20 SPF where others don't have any at all.
Two more Vichy's ProEven were launched in January 2013 that will complete the ProEven collection to help to create the perfect skin tone.
The ProEven: Eyes, 15ml ($39.50), was introduced to "address all causes of dark circles." Dark circles are not only caused from lack of sleep, but are also caused by "nasial congestion, inflammation, pigmentation irregularities, accumulation of dark dead skin cells, and thinning skin - blood vessels become more visible." This eye cream contains "caffeine, vitamin B3, Ceramide Bright + Liquorice extract, LHA, Vitamin Cg"
The ProEven: Brightening Cleansing Foam, 100ml ($19.95), was also introduced to help start the ProEven routine. This soft cream cleanser turns into foam that will help clean and refresh your skin. It contains "unique patented formula" LHA, Cermide Bright, and Vitamin C." This cleansing form exfoliates the skin without irritation, "helps control melanin production", and helps brighten and even skin tone.
I have been using this collection for over a week and I know it is not a miracle curer. It took me 15 years to damage my skin so I won't expect this to fix my skin in two or three weeks. I have read some reviews that many have seen improvement after 4 weeks but some have not. Each person has different skin conditions, diet, and environment. You need to try yourself. You might fall in love with it.
I have some age spots near my eyes, and uneven skin tones from years of acne scars and sun damage because I didn't wear sunscreen when I was younger. I was young and ignorant, don't ask.
I really like this collection especially the Cleansing Foam. I have to emphasize that a little goes a long way. I use a pea size (literally) and it really lathers up. At first you don't think there is enough but after a bit it builds up and there will be more than enough. It leaves my face squeaky clean, refreshed, and does not dry out my skin. Like any mom with two kids, I have dark circles from lack of sleep and nasal congestion. It is light and blends really quickly into my skin. I am not sure if I should be using this at night since it contains caffeine but I highly doubt it could keep me up all night.
I really enjoyed using both the Dark Spot Corrector and the BB cream. Both blend really well into my skin and leaves a matte finished. It is important to use these products along with sun screen or the damage will continue when it is not protected. I am not sure SPF 20 will be enough so I used additional sunscreen to add more protection while the ProEven products are trying to improve my skin. I was really surprised with how much I like the BB Cream. It is very light and barely noticeable when I am wearing it. I could see myself wearing this everyday. I prefer this BB Cream than the current one I was using.
This collection is sold separately at Shoppers Drug Mart and Rexall.
