Nivea Care Nourishing Cream ~ #Review

I recall growing up seeing Nivea in my mom's beauty collection.  I have used their products off and on for a few decades.  I didn't realize that they have been around for over a century.  I can always recall their famous metal tin that the cream comes in.

Nivea Care Nourishing Cream ~ #Review

Recently, Nivea has launched some new and improved skin care products.  You may have noticed the collaboration between Nivea and Tessa Virtue in all those commercials you may have come across.  Tessa is Nivea's first ever Canadian Brand Ambassador.

I am obsessed with Nivea Care Nourishing Cream.  If I could, I would love to leave the Nivea Event with all their Care Nourishing Cream they had on display.  They are that amazing.  It can be used for your body, face, and hands.  It comes in a tube or a jar format.  It is great for all skin type, including sensitive skin.  It provides you 100% hydration with 0% greasiness.

It has a thick texture but once you rub it in your skin you will noticed you skin just sucks it up leaving your skin soft and hydrated.   It will leave your skin smelling like "nivea" signature scent.  The top three ingredient is Water, Glycerin and Shea Butter.  Depending how severe how sensitive your skin is, just note it also includes Cetyl Alcohol and fragrance/parfum.

I love to leave this cream beside my computer and use it whenever I need it.  I hate applying cream and leaving my keyboard all greasy.  Eventually, the greasy will eat away the printed letters on the keyboard.  I have seen this happen to one of my co-worker's keyboard.

I mostly use the Nivea Care Nourishing Cream on my body and hands.  I can't say it will provide you 24 hours deep hydration.  I have to apply a lot on my hands and body to give me the hydration I want.

Nivea Care Nourishing Cream (SRP 200ml/$9.99, $400ml/13.99).  Nivea products are available at drugstores and mass retailers across Canada.

  2. I love that they picked Tessa Virtue for this campaign. I have a sister who has been using Nivea only for years.
