Lampe Berger Paris Cube Starter Kit ~ #Review #Giveaway

I love using products that would make my house feel more homey and welcome.  I love having guests over and my mom pops over more times than I can count since she is now retired.  It is embarrassing to know if you house smells from last night's dinner or a locker room.  I was impressed with how well the Lampe Berger Paris Cube Starter Kit worked at my house.

The kit has everything you need.  It comes with the square glass bottle lamp, a long burner wick, solid snuffer cap, decorative shade, filling funnel, and two liquid scents - ocean breeze and essential neutral.   This kit is so simple to use.  The instructions come in 25 different language and pictures!  I love picture instructions because they are so easy to follow.

I would pour the one of the two liquid scents down the bottle using the funnel.  Make sure to fill the lamp only 2/3 of the bottle.  Then I would stuff the wick into the bottle.  Sit and wait for the wick to absorb the liquid.  Once 20 mins has gone by, I would use light up the wick and let it burn for 2 minutes and blow out the flame.  Then I would put the decorative shade on and let it do its magic.  Be careful of the shade because it does gets hot.  You don't want to burn yourself.   The wick stays hot and starts taking away the odors.   If I want to move it around the room or move it to a different room, I would hold it by the base.

I would have let it sit in my living room as I went upstairs to grab laundry.  Then when I came back downstairs I noticed how clean my living room smells.  Never leave it unattended.  To turn it "off" I carefully remove the decorative shade and put the snuffer cap on it.  I used a pen to remove the shade.

This kit also comes in a rounded glass bottle lamp and I believe I have used it for 4 hours and I have still have half of what I put in.  The wick should be replace once a year or after 200 lighting.  They cost $20.  They have a large range of scents you can use and the newest ones for 2016 - Extreme Orange, Majestic Sequoia, and Subtle Almond (Refills - 500ml/$24 each bottle).  My favourite is the Extreme Orange.  I love the scent of citrus because I associate with it being happy, clean and fresh.

It works really well!  This kit is a must have item.  The glass bottle lamp is nice and thick.  I love that it is clear so it could fit into any decor.
