Kiehl's Limited Edition by Olivia Mew ~ #Review

The eye area is one of the most important area we need to take care of.  The surrounding  eye area is the most fragile and attracts signs of aging.  By keeping the eye area flawless could make you younger than you really are.  Kiehl's was not kidding when they say this eye treatment is creamy.  It is so creamy I wonder if it was body butter instead.  The texture is thick like an avocado.  A small amount is enough for both eyes.  Remember to use the ring finger when gently rub it in.

Kiehl’s pledges its support to the Canadian Wildlife Federation by symbolically adopting a threatened species & creating a limited edition to support the cause.

This year, the tradition continues with a special Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado that features a label designed by Olivia Mew of Stay Home Club to help the Beluga Whale. 100% of the net profits from the sale of the eye cream will be donated to the cause, with an objective of over $10,000.

Kiehl’s Since 1851, the venerable New York-based purveyor of fine quality skin and hair care is proud to donate 100% of net profits of the Limited Edition Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado to the Canadian Wildlife Federation, an organization dedicated to ensuring an appreciation of our natural world and a lasting legacy of healthy wildlife and habitat through learning, awareness and research. The product will be available in all of Kiehl’s Canadian locations, as well as on kiehls.ca, as of April 1, 2016, and features an original illustration by Canadian artist Olivia Mew.

Maintaining Kiehl’s longstanding support of the environment and specifically Canadian wildlife, sales from the Limited Edition Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado will be used by Kiehl’s to symbolically adopt 350 beluga whales as part of CWF’s Adopt a Species program. The Canadian Wildlife Federation will use the Kiehl’s adoption funds to support the Canadian Marine Animal Response Alliance (CMARA), which is led by CWF.

Every year, more than 1,000 marine animal incidents, requiring an emergency response, are reported in Canada. CMARA’s mission is to conserve Canada’s marine animals by providing national leadership on marine animal emergency responses and by offering support and guidance to the regional response networks. Through its work, CMARA improves marine animal rescue, research, and outreach on behalf of the Canadian public for the conservation of our marine wildlife heritage.

Through "Kiehl's Gives" initiatives to date, the brand has raised over $2,000,000 for environmental issues worldwide. “While maintaining Kiehl’s longstanding mission of giving back to the community in support of environmental initiatives, we are proud to continue to support the Canadian Wildlife Federation for the third consecutive year,” said Alexandre Ratté, General-Manager, Kiehl’s Canada. “We admire their tireless efforts to help conserve Canada’s natural environments, by providing assistance to wildlife in need.”

The unique label of the Limited Edition Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado features an original illustration by Canadian artist Olivia Mew. Born in Toronto & currently residing in Montreal, Olivia is known for her whimsical style, which is most clearly articulated through her lifestyle brand Stay Home Club. Founded in as a “one-woman-basement-business” in 2012, the brand now counts devotees from around the world who identify with its witty messaging. 1. That does look really thick - not what I am used to for an eye cream! It really sounds like a wonderful product though - as you said, the eyes show your age pretty quickly!

  3. sounds like a very nice cream. I personally like that it's so thick as that makes you use less and so it lasts longer making it a good value.
