Alba Botanica Sunscreen ~ #Review #Giveaway

I can't believe Summer is unofficially here and I can't wait to take my daughters to all the festivities that are happening this season.  There are so many things that happen in my city that I hope I can cram in everything I want us to do and make the most of this summer.  Since we will be out most of the time, I have to make sure my daughters and I are well protected from UVA/B.

Getting sunburned is not fun.  They can be painful and uncomfortable.  It also causes long term effects.  I knew a person who once got sunburned and her skin became old and leathery with lots of moles/freckles.  She was only in her early 40s and she looks liked she aged 10 years.  I keep a basket of sunscreen by the front door to remind everyone to put on their sunscreen.  This season I was very excited to try Alba Botanica collection of sunscreen.  I am new to the brand.

My daughters and I enjoyed using Alba Botanica sunscreen.  The facial sunscreen lotion (113g, $9.99) has a very light texture, absorbs fast, no scent, dry touch, non greasy.  I used it a few times and I love it. I could wear it underneath my makeup.

I am a runner.  It is the only sport I enjoy since grade school. The most I ran was 12K.  I love to use the Sport sunscreen (113g, $9.99) that would still protect me when I am sweating all over the place.  The Alba Botanica Sport is amazing because it is not greasy and absorbs quickly on my skin.

I put on sunscreen on my kids every morning before they go to school.  The Kids sunscreen (113g, $9.99) is perfect when I need it.  It was easy to put it on their face and body.  My youngest has sensitive skin and she didn't react to it.

The Sport and Kids sunscreen also comes in a spray bottle.  (110g, $9.99) At first I thought it "sprays" sunscreen but it squirts to help make apply sunscreen faster.  I am not sure if there any difference between the spray and the tube.   I prefer the tube where I would pour it into my hands and rub it on my arms and legs.  It also fits better in my bag too.

However, I could see the benefits of the "spray" bottle would be ideal for kids to apply sunscreen on their own.  Teachers at school are not allow to help kids apply their sunscreen.  The kids have to do it on their own.  The spray bottle allows a better control how much to comes out because it one squirts a bit at a time where as the tube you can pour too much and spill all over.

I also love about Alba Botanica is that their products are 100% vegetarian products with natural and cruelty-free ingredients.
