In case you didn't know coconut oil has many uses:
- makeup removal and cleanser

- create body scrubs and hair masks
- exfoliant
- sooth sunburns
- create massage oil
- create into household cleaner
- create into toothpaste
- cook with it too!
In Canada, Skinny Coconut Oil are available in cute little 2oz/59.15ml glass jars so you can take it everywhere you go. It has the same texture as pure shea butter. It is hard but it softens with your body temperature. It has a great light coconut smell. You will hardly notice it. My hands and body were so dry. When I applied the coconut oil, it first made my hands greasy but once I rubbed it in the greasiness was gone. It is amazing how fast it absorbs into my skin.
I have put it at the ends of my hair because it is the driest part of my hair. It feels a bit greasy so I am guessing I put too much on my hands.
Even though I love coconut, this is my first time trying coconut oil. Skinny Coconut Oil is different than other coconut oil because it is raw from using a procedure called cold pressed. Raw is better. The majority of coconut oils on the market claim to be "cold pressed," but are actually heated prior to the pressing process. This extracts more oil from each individual coconut, yet raises the temperature over 120˚ F and destroys nutritional value. We believe our Nutralock System™ is superior to any other pressing method. Each jar takes about three times longer than other processes and uses 12 coconuts. This is why you can see, smell and feel the difference between our oil and virtually any other oil on the market.
After opening it I don't need to refrigerate however there is an expiry date at the bottom of the jar. Skinny coconut oil has a higher pH levels than other coconut oils. There are no fillers and no other chemicals in each jar of coconut oil.
Skinny Coconut Oil (2oz, C$15) is available at Sephora.
