Kellogg’s Cereal with One of Five Collectible Cereal & Milk Spoon Straws inside! ~ #Review

I grew up in the 80s when there was a time when cereal boxes came with a toy or a goody. I do recall a time when I begged my mom for a box and we emptied the whole box to get the toy. I asked my friends if they remember what they got and no one could remember what they received. They only remember the excitement of getting the cereal box toy.

Kellogg’s Cereal & Milk Spoon Straws inside!

This spring, Canadian families will experience that delight again as they open specially-marked, family-size boxes of Kellogg’s cereal with one of five collectible Cereal & Milk Spoon Straws inside! Each spoon straw features a beloved Kellogg’s character and will bring a little more FUN to breakfast.

I didn’t realize it has been over 6 years since Kellogg’s had a small treat included in their cereals. My daughters were excited that I brought home a box of Fruit Loops. When I said it includes a spoon, they were happy to crack open the box and dig in for it. Then I realized that the spoon was outside of the cereal bag. My oldest daughter loves the straw spoons. She thought it was pretty cool.  She was excited to use it with her bowl of Froot Loops. There are 5 different spoons to collect and they are for a limited time only.

  5. I always loved getting the prize out of the cereal boxes, but I do not remember ever getting a straw/spoon. I wish I would have kept more of the prizes I got. I'm sure some of them would be worth some money today to the right collector.

  15. I remember getting the boxes of cereal with a prize. However, because there were seven of us kids, my mother had a hard time deciding who'd get the prize.

  16. I remember prizes when I was a kid. Mom made a rule that we were not allowed to dig, but I shook it until I could see it.
