It is getting rarer to get anything in the mail besides bills, if any, since I get mine mostly by email or through e-billing. On rare occasions I get Birthday Cards for my daughter and a few Christmas Cards in December. When I get them it is a nice surprise and I am always excited to open them. They brighten my evening up when I pick up my mail when I get home. Sure I get emails alot but it is always a nice surprise to get a card in the mail. It means they were thinking about me when they dropped it off at the post office/box.

My biggest problem is what to write on the card. I would sit there hitting my head trying to decide what to write. The other problem is to make sure I have an updated mailing address. I hate it when it gets returned and forgotten they had moved. Hallmark sent me a seven days challenge to send one card to seven people. This took me some preparation work like who to write to, getting their mailing address, and what message to write. However, this is a great opportunity to write to a few family members who I don’t communicate much and to send one to my friend, on his birthday.


I just love Hallmark cards, they are so pretty and they have great selections for almost every occasion. I remember I would be trying to pick up a good bye card for a co-worker and I would spend a good amount of time trying to pick one especially there is more than one to choose from.


Share the Love! Why don’t you send a few Hallmark cards out to brighten up their day? Instead of an email, why not send a card just to make them feel extra special. Going for that extra mile could mean a whole lot to them. If you are like me who has a box of cards that you are meaning to use them but never got the chance to...now it is time.
