The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipsticks and Eye Shadows ~ #Review

Can you believe it is August and Fall is just around the corner?  When the season is going to change you know what that means...new products!!  Let me tell you that The Body Shop will be launching great new products this Fall and you dont want to miss it.

Back in July, I attended The Body Shop's Girls Night Out and there they introduced to me products that I'm itching for, and can't wait to get my hands on it.  This season they will be launching new lipsticks and eye shadows which I had the pleasure to try out before they hit the stores and online on August 12, 2013.

The Body Shop Color Crush
Chocolate Linger (wet, dry) - Chat-Up Lime (wet, dry) - 230 Rush of Pink - 240 Damson in Distress
The Body Shop will be introducing 24 New Colour Crush Lipsticks in three colour families at a reasonable price of $13.  This will replace the Colourglide lipsticks but not to worry since there are plenty of shades that will meet your needs.  These lipsticks are 100% cruelty free, 100% vegetarian and each shades will give you 100% high impact.

These wonderful lipsticks are made with cherry seed oil and Community Trade marula oil from the Eudafano Women's Co-Operative, which is helping 1750 women to earn a fair income.  Also each lipstick has a delicate floral rose fragrance.

I have never tried the Colourglide but I have to say I really like these New Colour Crush Lipsticks.  They go on buttery smooth perfect for my dehydrated lips.  Personally I like colours that are darker but it turns out I also like the lighter shades too.  I can't smell the floral rose fragrance or any at all and prefer it that way.  The staying power is incredible because it stained my lips.  After having lunch I thought my lipstick was gone but I could still see some of the colour on my lips.  I've got to get more of these lipsticks.

Another product The Body Shop will be launching in August is their Colour Crush Eye shadows - "30 must have stand-out shades".  These are packaged in a single recyclable clear compact to see the rich colour it contains for the price of $10 each.  These eye shadows come from a blend of Community Fair Trade Brazil nut oil, marula oil, honey, organic virgin coconut oil and sesame oil.

These eye shadows are so light and gentle, so you would hardly know you are wearing them.  They are blendable and buildable so they could be worn alone or mixed with other shades to help you to create the look you desire.  Just wet your brush if you need to intensify the colour for the evening look.  I wear glasses so I prefer to have my eye shadow a bit more noticable so I would use a damped brush to apply using this eye shadow or go a shade darker than I normally would.  I wonder if they would one day put this in a nice little pallet to carry in my purse.  It would be a nice product to have in my collection.

These are vegetarian and 100% cruelty free because they "do not contain any bug shell extract to colour the product, any shimmer effect is made from mineral mica and binding agent made from natural vegetable materials instead of crushed shellfish."

I love that the Body Shop are vegetarian and 100% cruelty free because animals used for any kind of testing is very cruel
