Yes! I was at the Lole's Toronto white yoga session.
Over 2,000 dressed all in white at Fort York National Historical Site.
This yoga session was held in the rain - can you believe that?
The event was free and all I had to do was reserve a mat.
Toronto Yoga instructor: Grace Dubery
Music by: M'Michele, electric harpist (she's amazing)
Sponsors/Contributors/Supports: Chateline, Sporting Life, Kashi, Zico, Downward Dog Yoga Centre, Chopra Yoga Centre, Tuja Wellness, Germain Touch
It was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go again next year.
Glad you had a wonderful experience (even in the rain!)
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad it rained. it looked like it was a wonderful event!
ReplyDeleteI checked out the website. Interesting concept - over 7000 participants to date is pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteReally nice, and it looks like you got some goodies too
ReplyDeleteI read about this, but wasn't able to attend! I absolutely love yoga! Do you normally do yoga?
ReplyDeleteI love yoga but I had to stop. But would love to start it again maybe later in the year.
DeleteI've been practising yoga my entire life.My body feels half the age of 60.No sore aching creaking bones, much clearer though processes and the more I studied and meditated the more I found normal food that consisted of huge greedy pieces of animals who are now growing a style that resembles nothing more meat vegatebles. The change in diet, the yoga stretching and meditation I believe have kept my mind and body feeling ten years younger.I find I am surprised when I fill out contests and have to put date of birth,I'm shocked.Enough nattering.
ReplyDeleteGood for you. I wish I could do more yoga. Whenever I had to tell someone my age I had to think to make sure.
DeleteYoga in the rain? Sounds like a lot of fun actually.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine doing yoga in the rain - in all white none the less! Good for you!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed yourself so much that you're looking forward to next time :-). I suppose that once everything was booked for the event it had to proceed come rain, sun or snow - lucky it wasn't the later ;-)
