I hope they might re-release Peanuts' TV show so my kids generation would enjoy what I had back in the 80's. They have pretty much re-release or remade a lot of old kids TV shows, why not Peanuts. The only reason why my daughter knows Charlie Brown and Snoopy is from watching "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" and "Charlie Brown Christmas" on either TV or on YouTube. These are the best classic cartoons that I make appoint to watch it with them.
Peanuts was one successful comic strip that I thought we could relate to in one form or another. We could always relate to poor Charlie Brown when things were not going as they should. Don't forget the famous Peanuts tune, "Linus and Lucy", and that famous Snoopy dance that is recognizable whenever I hear it.
Peanuts comic strip ran from October 2, 1950 to February 13, 2000 with 17,897 strips published, "arguably the longest story ever told by one human being." Wikipedia
This Season, Hallmark will have a collection of Peanuts from mugs to calendar every person will enjoy. My littlest daughter love the Snoopy Mini Plush (MSRP $8.95). She kept on saying how cute it is. This is a perfect size to fit into a Character Mugs (Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, MSRP $9.95). This combination is a perfect gift idea. The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Perpetual Calendar (MSRP $24.95) was my oldest daughter and my favourite. She thought it was neat and wanted to play with it. I had to break it to her that this wasn't a toy but a calendar to sit on a desk/shelf. I also love the framed comic strip - Framed Prints with Wire Element (MSRP $24.95) because it puts a smile on my face when I read it.
There is a great deal from August 9 - August 18, all Hallmark Gold Crown Stores will be selling Peanuts gifts at BOGO 50% in celebration of Snoopy's Birthday.
