Kellogg’s Rice Krispies #TreatsForToys ~ #Giveaway #2016GiftGuide

My daughters loves to eat Rice Krispies squares.  They really like the ones I make when I have the chance.  This time when I make my Rice Krispies treats it won't be the usual plan square.  This time for #TreatsForToys I will be making mine with a little bit more fun.

Kellogg’s Rice Krispies #TreatsForToys

Rice Krispies treats are so easy to make.  I just need the basic of melted butter and marshmallows and little bit of imagination.  Working on my creation at 12am is not so bad except trying to figure out what I will be making.  As I was using my mixing bowl to add the melted marshmallows to the cereal then it hit me.  It was simple and easy.  I made a basket ball...well sort of one.

Kellogg’s Rice Krispies #TreatsForToys
Remember when melting the marshmallows to do it on low setting. You don't want to burn it.  More marshmallows the better.  I love using the Rice Krispies with red and green colouring.  It makes my baked goods look more festive.

I have a Kellogg’s Rice Krispies kit to giveaway.  Here is your chance to create something magically this year.  Have fun and let your creativity shine.

To ensure no child goes without the magic of the holidays, the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies #TreatsForToys program has once again partnered with The Salvation Army to encourage Canadians across the country to create a toy-shaped Rice Krispies treat and share a photo on TreatsforToys.ca, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #TreatsforToys.

For every photo uploaded or shared on social, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies will donate $20 to The Salvation Army for the purchase of an actual toy for a child in need during the festive season. Make. Share. Give. These three simple steps will help create magical memories for children to cherish for a lifetime.

In need of some inspiration? Visit www.TreatsforToys.ca to view the toy-shaped treats made by your fellow festive Canadians. And, for all the need-to-know information on the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies #TreatsForToys program, check out this fun 0:30 video: http://bit.ly/2esXjUQ.
